Excellent and easy to fit
After having had several snapped chains and struggled with fitting new ones this SRAM chain was extremely easy to fit. You need a chain tool to remove a link if you need to shorten to shorten the chain, but once the chain is the right length you just fit the PowerLock and job done! Works really well and the chain is really strong.

A good value for money chain
I like these chains, I’ve had a few now (because I have a few bikes :-) . I change chains at about 3000 miles to try and save wear on the rear cassette and front chain rings, a fair price and good quality

Quality replacement chain.
Good quality chain, comes complete with a single re-usable tool-free connecting link. However, this re-usable link is not the easiest out there when it comes to getting it off. If you want that, I would recommend paying a bit more and buy a Connex chain.

Good mid-range SRAM chain with PowerLink
I usually buy this chain. It is mid-range so offers a good mix of performance and value. It usually last for a good time too before stretching too much and needing to be replaced. Being a SRAM chain rather than Shimano, it comes with the handy powerlink to fix it, which can also be undone if you need to remove the chain.

Sram chain
As usual a good quality item from sram, very simple to install yourself providing you have the right tools. The chain was coated in a thick sticky oil to prevent corrosion. Plus as with all of their chains it had the quick link, makes life so easy, can be a bit of a pain to remove, but you can do it easy with some wire, so no special tool required.

Good fit
No problems. Straight replacement with no need to split or shorten chain. And good value when compared with local bike shops.

You don't need to spend a fortune to get a good chain
I like these Sram chains, they last me for ages, and whilst I don't cycle hundreds of miles, I do a lot of wet muddy rough tracks on a fair regular basis. I also like the Sram chain link joiner, but it is advisable to buy the link joining tool which makes the job a whole lot easier.

An excellent replacement
I used this to replace the cheap and nasty chain that broke on my otherwise very nice 6 month old Trek MTB. I have not had problems with SRAM chains, and I like the Powelink that enables you to break and join the chain without tools, even if it can be a bit fiddly sometimes. However, you DO need a splitter tool to shorten the chain to the correct length to start with. Being nickel plated it is much more corrosion resistant than cheap ones which can develop traces of surface rust within hours of washing if you're not careful.

I’ve been using these chains for my and my son’s TT bikes for the last two years—for races, as well as outdoor and indoor training. No issues with performance, and thanks to the quick link, they’re easy to replace. Durability is sufficient for about 3,000 miles. Hint: When I get a new chain, I usually clean it thoroughly with a degreaser, then wash it with soap and water, dry it, and finally apply bike oil. Don't use it with manufactures oil - it is for preservation, not for regular use.
