Decent quality dashcam for the price with spongy buttons...
Stoga DashcamI've had a few dash cams come through my hands and am always interested in trying out a new one. They are really useful if you ever have a bump in your car (as I did recently) or have any problems with any other car drivers (cyclists or pedestrians!)This one comes with an attachment for the windscreen - which has a "vacuum cup" which fits the device securely while you are driving. It also comes with a "Cigarette lighter" attachment for power and a separate mini-USB to USB lead to transfer files from your dashcam to your desktop pc/laptop/tablet.My dashcam came with a 12 page instruction manual - half of that in English and half in Chinese (I notice that some other reviewers say they didn't get a manual so I sympathise with them). It does say what to do with each button - but there is not any definite indication for instance which one is the mode button and which is the menu button so you have to guess which is which and remember. And that is one of the problems I had with this unit – the buttons are “spongey” and unresponsive. At first I thought the menu button just did not work. It wasn’t until I pushed it at an angle that I could get any response out of it at all and then it was a bit hit and miss. When I actually got into the menu system – it was all set up sensibly in folders and all of the usual types of things you would want to change are in there: quality of video, time and date, Car Reg no, brightness balance (For some reason mine came set on +2 EV!), loop time (I always set mine so that it does them in 3 or 5 minute chunks) etcAlso the on—screen information is sensible. And you can ensure that the LCD screen is not distracting you whilst you are driving. The unit can turn on when you start your car and then you can ensure that the LCD will automatically turn off after a couple of minutes. Similarly it will turn off when you turn off your car engine.I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the video – I set it on its highest quality and it will run for about an hour and 20 minutes (on a 8GB micro-SD card) before it starts to loop around recording over the oldest recording. Obviously you can set it up to a lower standard of video quality or put in a larger micro-SD card OR indeed carry a number of them around with you if you have recordings that you wish to keep! And that’s about it. It’s not the best dash cam I have tried out – but it’s definitely not the worst either. For the price it is a good all-round dash cam with a decent screen and quality of video. My only reason for marking down one star is really the sponginess of the buttons which did irritate me slightly. I was sent this dashcam for free to give a fair and unbiased review which is what I have tried to do.

Fantastic
Fastastic camera! You do need to order a TF card before you use it! But once I got it the camera is fantastic quality,
