Works well, well made

Knippex - equals good quality, more expensive than most but makes up for in quality and feel. You can just about get into anything with this apart from Fort Knox, very handy tool to have.

This is a reasonable cabinet key, especially having the multi-sized, stepped square drive fitting - very rare on most other utility key combinations. My only gripe is that it is supplied with a double-ended Pozi and Flat Blade screwdiver bit, but none of the slots actually accept this hex key fitting. Otherwise, a very useful tool.

Typical Knipex quaity tool, opens every type of industrial control panel or machine guard panel quarter turn lock you are likely to find in Europe.The stainless wire rope has a screwed connection so you can add additional specialist keys should you need to.A bit or precision regarding the radiator bleed key. If the center line of the bleed plug is less than 32mm from the wall, or whatever the radiator is fastened to then this key will be too big. The 6mm (1/4") socket is the little bump on the flat face of the triangular and square key. For example my raditors are at 75 and 90 mm from the wall so this key works perfectly and gives far better leverage and purchase than the typical small brass of steel keys commonly found in DIY shops.

Does exactly what in needs to do - solidly built, well designed with strong magnets. Happy to recommend.

I purchased this on a recommendation, having been stuck at a charging point, unable to release my cable. A day after buying this, once again I found myself unable to detach my charging lead from a public charging point. With this tool I was able to open the cover to reboot the charging point, and release the cable.Oh yes - it’s also useful for opening my gas meter cupboard for meter readings.
