I needed a good quality battery to fit to an old diesel engined Kia. I ordered this at 3pm on thursday and it arrived the following day at 11.30am, fantastic service from Tanya Batteries, can't get better and at a lower price than anywhere else too.

Battery has failed after only 18 months. Multiple attempts to explain this to the supplier was met with excuses on how the battery was not at fault. It just seems pathetic that they will argue to justify a position which is this: if the battery fails its your fault and no its nothing that the warranty will cover. It is clear that battery warranties from Varta or the seller (Batterie Megastore SARL) are meaningless. Avoid both and buy a proper battery from a reputable seller or better brand like Bosch.

Stopped working after 15 months. Contacted customer services who told to post back at our own cost, which would not be refunded even if the item is proved faulty. They said they will cover postage cost of sending a replacement. Told us who NOT to post with (Royal Mail, Evri) but didn’t tell us who to post with. Eventually suggested some carriers, including Yodel who actually do not accept parcels of this weight. Would not recommend the product or the retailer
