The product arrived quickly (ordered Sunday; postage was free; arrived Wednesday morning). No unecessary packaging and pointless booklets in 30 languages, just a plain polythene bag. Connect it up and you are good to go. Works perfectly.If you are not sure this is the product you are looking for...I bought this to connect audio from my PC to my TV -you could similarly connect to any other device (e.g. a sound system). Without this cable it would otherwise use the PC speakers for the sound. Now I can use my nice big TV to watch movies etc with full audio that are stored on the PC --rather than have the sound come from the PC speakers. NB: IF you are looking to do this too, you will also need a cable to send the video signal from the PC.BTW, one reviewer seemed upset that the Line-in jacks that go into the TV(or whatever you are connecting to) are red and black, as opposed to red and white as shown. the ports they plug into are usually red and white, but it's not a huge leap in logic to work out which goes into which.

This cable cost £1.26 and as such is a bit of a bargain - it works absolutely fine with no problems.A few things to be careful of though;1) The cable was 260cm long, not 300cm (3m) as advertised2) Pick which Seller you buy from very carefully - Amazon do not preselect the cheapest or the quickest delivery3) Some of the Sellers are shipping from Hong Kong despite having a UK address; takes weeks to arrive!4) Check the delivery date once added to your basket; I missed this and had a very long wait versus a few days with other sellers!Overall, happy with the cable and would recommend - just watch out for the delays, shorter length of cable, etc.3) Check the

Firstly, I must point out that this is a generic product, and therefore quality may vary, especially from different suppliers. For this reason, I strongly recommend that you choose a supplier that is highly rated - mine came from Cablestar.There's not much more I can say, other than tell you how I have used it...It's currently plugged into the headphone socket of an LG 32LH3000 TV and a Marantz amplifier. The signal from the TV is very weak - about that of a moving magnet phono cartridge - so the amplifier has to be turned up higher than for other sources. However, there's no hiss which means the cable itself it doing a good job.

Didn't expect a lot from this for the price but thought I'd give it a go as I wanted to see if I could hook up my digital music to my old analogue hifi and wasn't sure it would work. First I tried it with my mp3 player but the jack didn't fit the headphone socket very well and the sound was barely audible. Next I tried plugging it into the headphone jack of my laptop and bingo! Now I can do playlists on my laptop and the sound is almost as good as playing cds. I'm really happy and recommended to my friends.

After my old one that I had for years broke i had to get a new one so that i could have my PC sound come through my old hi-fi system. I was worried that the product would be a bit tacky with the price being so cheap but i can gladly say that its just as good as the one i had before, Packaging was simple and obviously easy to set up, just plug into the right inputs on the hi-fi and the jack on the PC. Now the only thing that confused me about this product that was when i received it, the red and white jacks where red and black so i thought they had sent me the wrong one, however i plugged them in anyway and it worked so no problem there except from the wrong color, but hey, who's going to see them anyway right?
