We don't really have Lego, but have had numerous 'build it yourself' kits over the years, with a nearly-seven-year-old.This is a great idea - four sets of instructions to make four different vehicles, with the tools included (screwdriver etc). Our son CAN technically make them by himself, the instructions show pictorially how to make them step by step but a few bits are fiddly so grown up hands are useful to have around to hold things together and bend them in the right ways to fit it all together.I love the colours, the yellow and purple, make them attractive to either gender, and a good selection of models to make.The plastic is good quality, all the pieces were there, the instructions are helpful and clear enough for children to follow themselves, though a 5/6 year old may need guidance in not missing anything out.

Very cool toy for my boy, he can spend hours playing with it building the different vehicles. He love all kind of toy cars but this one gives him the possibility to build planes and other things and he loves it, and I think is great for his learning as it brings different tools and he has to learn to use them and create what he wants. The materials are very good and it is very colorful what I guess that attracts even more to the kids. I recommend it as a gift for these Christmas, the small ones loves it, they have a good fun. Recommend it!

Good solid pieces that go together making robustly constructed models. The parts just right for little fingers to hold and join together. Screws and nuts that really work, easily put in place with the screwdriver and spanner provided. A colourful toy that keeps enquiring little minds (and dads) occupied for hours.

I bought this for my 5 year old grandson but it was far too hard for him to assemble himself. The instructions weren't very easy to follow and it was often difficult to fit the pieces together. Some of the peices were really quite small and would be easy to lose, so you wouldn't be able to make the models.Nevertheless, we did have fun putting them together as a joint effort.

I bought this toy for my granddaughter's 6th birthday, it was quite difficult to assemble for a 6 year old without adult help. A screw broke on the first assembly. I requested a replacement part but was told it would take 3 weeks to arrive from China. They then replaced the whole toy without me having to return the broken one. They also gave her another slightly easier to assembly toy for free valued at £17.00 as an apology. 10/10 for customer service. Nice toy and it does look robust although we had a slight issue with one small part.

Aeroplane made up okay but pieces didn't fit for the car. It looks as if you can make up all the vehicles but you can only make one at a time. Instructions are poor. May provide fun for imaginative children who like to make their own things.
