I was quite indecisive about purchasing this shaker as it is easy to find similar products at a cheaper price. I decided that if I bought the product and was left with a container of lumps I would be blamed for not buying the recommended shaker to go with the SlimZest diet powder. The powder is expensive so I decided I would be best to invest in the SlimZest shaker. The price was £7.99 but when purchased with the very large container of SlimZest Diet Powder I was given a £2 discount. For £5.99 this was well worth the money.I have concerns about plastic containers so I always like them to be BPA free. It is also dishwasher safe but I decided to not put it into the dishwasher so far. My Carer has found it very easy to clean. There is a tiny place which provides the seal for the drinking part which would be helpful to use a gentle nail brush, or a toothbrush would probably be better, to clear any grains of powder. It has now been washed about 6 times and this only proved a problem on the second wash. It's better to rinse the container straight away after drinking the drink because the flow of the water very easily clears any residue from the shaker. If you are taking the drink to a gym and really cannot rinse the shaker straight away then a gentle bottle brush would probably be necessary. Of course, there is the option of the dishwasher but I have not tried this.The shaker does not smell of plastic at all. The whole top comes on and off by unscrewing it from the main container. There is a strong plastic mesh which slots into position easily and is there to stop globules of powder coated with milk or water from forming. The SlimZest powder is completely free of lumps prior to mixing and is an extremely smooth quality powder. When powder is mixed with fluids it is normal for it to coat the powder and form like a bubble of powder. This is the purpose of the mesh to break down these bubbles so that the powder is properly mixed. This works quite well and I found that the harder you are able to shake the drink the better the consistency. I drink mine straight out of the shaker. There is a round seal which is attached to the top part of the shaker. The seal to the drinking part is about the size of a pound coin and I found it to combine ease of drinking with ease of cleaning. Most companies do not get this balance right and I have ended up having to throw shakers away because of it having areas which are impossible to clean.Being disabled I was worried that it would be difficult for me to get the whole lid off but being a screw top this proved to be very easy. I was also worried about the top drink spout seal but that is easy to open and needs to be pressed on securely to re-seal it. I have found this product to be completely free of any leakage. Many products I have purchased have spilled drops of drink onto my clothing when opening the drink seal but this one has been designed very well and this does not happen. Of course, if you like you can pour the drink into a glass but for me that is just one more thing to do and one more item to wash. I found the product to be very stable on the work surface too. The bottle also has the measurements on the side to measure the correct ml of milk or water. I didn't notice this at first so I used a measuring jug.I am very pleased I paid the extra money for this particular shaker bottle. I prefer it to other purchases because when you undo the drinking spout it does not spill drops of the drink onto my clothing. Also when you unscrew the whole lid it does not cause any fluid to drop on the work surface. I am also extremely pleased that the company have balanced the ease of cleaning with the ease of drinking which is a massive plus. I am especially pleased that I cannot smell the plastic! I would highly recommend this product. I intend to buy a second one in case I want to mix two drinks and put one in the fridge for later.

Reasonable enough shaker with a strainer that should catch the lumps, it doesn’t! Might be more useful if you had the metal ball inside which seem to be better. Washes well but is exactly the same as any other shaker out there and a bit more expensive.

Good price for the quality of the product

Bought this for my Fiancé to take a shake to work. The shaker bit is different, but really works. There have been no leaks and he's been using it every week day for weeks.

This bottle is great for mixing up shakes, no lumps, very easy to use and clean. Good size.

Great shaker I have used the ones with the wire balls and they leave lumps but this shaker is perfect and blends easily fantastic shaker

No problems... no leaks unless you dont put/check if lid is on proper
