I bought the CatEye single spoke magnet as a replacement for a lost one on my commuter bike’s speed sensor setup, and it has worked flawlessly from day one. It's one of those small, inexpensive bits that you rarely think about until it's missing — but when you need a replacement, you want it to be simple, secure, and reliable. This is exactly that. The magnet is compatible with CatEye cycle computers and speed sensors, and it also works with many other brands that use the same basic magnetic pickup system. I’m using it with a Cateye Velo sensor and it synced up immediately without any issues. Installation is straightforward — it simply clips around a spoke and tightens with a small Phillips screwdriver. You don’t need any fancy tools, and the screw holds tight without stripping. Once it’s tightened, the magnet stays firmly in place, even on rough terrain or when I’m riding at speed. No rattling, no shifting position, and no risk of it flying off mid-ride. The magnet housing is small and discreet — finished in black, it blends in with most wheelsets and doesn’t look out of place. Despite the compact size, the magnetic field is strong enough to register reliably with the sensor on every pass. I’ve tested it over multiple rides and had zero dropouts or speed reading glitches. Another thing worth mentioning is the adjustability. The magnet can be rotated slightly before tightening, which helps with aligning it perfectly with the sensor. It’s a small feature, but it makes setup easier, especially if your sensor is in a slightly awkward spot. It’s also lightweight — I didn’t notice any difference in wheel balance, and it certainly doesn’t interfere with performance. One very minor point: it would be nice if CatEye included a spare screw in the pack just in case you drop the original, but that’s just being extra cautious. In short, if you need a reliable, no-fuss replacement magnet for your speed sensor, this is ideal. Cheap, easy to install, and does the job perfectly. Highly recommended to get your bike computer working again.

It does the job and it's surely a lot better than the stock magnet of my cycle computer. It has to be said though, that it's only a magnet featured on a tiny mounting plastic bracket and therefore,it's way more pricey than it should have been.

Fitted this magnet easily pickup detected it immediately. No adjustment needed and it actually provides better pickup clearance due to its impressive strength while being tiny.. Highly advise it to replace a poor quality original or damaged/lost... Can't garuntee it's durability bit for its minor cost great replacement...

After months of battling with Zwift connecting to my sensors, this strong magnet has resolved my issues. Great price for the reduced stress and frustration

Simple adjustable magnet for cycle computers. It works well for flat aero spokes and old style thick round spokes, however it doesn't work well on the ultralight thin round spokes.

E molto più piccolo ma non meno potente di quello originale ed ha un prezzo molto economico. Come tutti i modelli simili fatica un po' a restare "face to face'' ma il giudizio resta molto positivo.

Good magnet - really strong and is good for wireless transmitters for bike speedometers. Use Loctite to secure the threads though. I like the fact that the CatEye magnet is all metal and no plastic pieces. It'll last for a long time.
