Shampoo Eye Shield, Blue

Genuinely changed bathtime for my 3 year old. It stops all the water going in his eyes, it seals to the head well, no leaks. It fits and goes on his head, over his curls, easily. We place it on the radiator to dry afterwards to prevent potential mould growth. No more bathtime arguments over doing his hair, no more tears, makes it significantly faster and a happier experience in the bath. I will absolutely be re-purchasing this when needed. Can highly recommend.

I was a bit a sceptical about this due to the mixed reviews but I need something as my LO hates water in her face so washing her hair is a nightmare. We’ve tried everything from lying down to having a poster on the ceiling and getting her to point out things which did work for a bit but only when she sat still. I then come across this and thought I would give it a go dispite the mixed reviews. I’m sooo glad I did, it works a treat, it’s very easy to fit, super soft and stretchy so will fit her for a while and she absolutely loves wearing it which is a huge bonus, hair washing is quick and easy now, no more melt downs … yay

Brought this as my child who has Sen is funny about hair being washed. He’s not a fan of unfortunately so not really been able to use. He didn’t like it on his head. It seems ok not sure how well it holds up when in use as it’s not very stiff the cap part. But I imagine the tension when worn will support it.

Purchased item to deal primarily with the nightmare that is bath time for both me and my toddler. It fits well and its foam material lends itself to a little stretching if the bigger kids don't like shampoo time either! It protects the toddler from the majority of water that would usually run on her face but it can be difficult to wash the hair that lies underneath the foam head shield itself as its design means that it covers some of the hair line. It can be mostly remedied by pulling it farther down the face underneath the hairline but my toddler in particular is not a big fan of it lying across her ears and face so not as effective as maybe the picture advertising indicates. I do like the design however - it is very simple and could be effective with a child that is not quite so terrified of water in her face, and its price is fantastic. Would def recommend giving this product a try before investing in the more expensive alternatives as may work for the less terrified and fussy!

Such a simple but effective design. I initially thought it would be flimsy but once it goes around my kid’s head, the front part just tips out and generally diverts water away from eyes etc. of course, kids move around loads in the tub so sometimes it’s not possible to completely avoid water but honestly this eye shield does a decent job. Better than nothing for sure and for the price, I think it’s a steal. I have also been using this for at least 7 months and still in good shape

The quality of this is terrible, material, design, and functionality are all non-existent. It doesn’t even come close to preventing water from falling on the child’s face. And it took months to arrive.

I wash my hair in the shower, and without some sort of protection, I always get shampoo in my eyes. (Dyspraxia may have something to do with this). This baby hair-washing cap is very stretchy: my head measures about 60-61cm around the hairline and this still fits fine: it isn't even uncomfortably tight. Problem totally solved. No water gets through until it wears out - it starts to develop cracks in the edge and stops sealing against the head. This takes several years at a rate of washing hair once most weeks (I am not at all sure if it degrades more with use or with time, and mine is washed clean of soap and dried out completely between uses). I'm just about to order my third one. Would strongly recommend to anyone with a similar problem. :-)

I can see how this product works for some children but not a success in my experience. My Son doesn't like wearing it and since he has long hair, my work is made that much more difficult. When I managed to keep it on for a few seconds I realised some water streams made it to his face. It's quite flimsy (not a criticism as I'm sure it's designed that way to allow flexibility) making it very easy for my Son to remove. Hence, I can see this working for some who don't mind putting it on. It's not bad for the price and maybe worth the risk. I will try it again a few weeks later to see if he still fights it.

Enfin on a trouvé la visière de bain qui a apaisé le moment du shampoing. Finit les pleurs et elle tient bien. Il faut qu'elle soit sèche pour l'installer sans eau qui coule dans les yeux.Après en cours de shampoing l'eau glisse bien sur la visière sans mouiller les yeux,topissime on apprécie de nouveau ce moment.Prix élevé quand même mais ça fonctionne alors on regrette pas(car on en a cherché) et on en prend soin de notre précieux accessoire de bain. Et ne tire pas les cheveux,matière souple et douce.

Sehr weiterzuempfehlen. Keine Tränen mehr beim Haare waschen. Geniales Teil. Sehr elastisch. Passt sich jeder Kinder Kopfform an.

The material is foam and is somewhat expensive.

questo prodotto e ' ottimo per lavare i capelli ai bimbi piccoli che solitamente odiano farsi lavare i capelli perche' hanno paura del bruciore agli occhi per via dello shampoo. Questa visierina e' la soluzione ideale per bimbi fino ai 2 anni circa perche' la circonferenza non e' grandissima e non elastica. GRAZIE !

This protected my child's eyes so well during bathtime. She had become very scared of water running into her eyes, I was frustrated just trying to wash her hair each time. We nicknamed this her "Magic Hat" and it changed everything! Great product, thanks!
