My aunt is a Buddhist, so I wanted to get this keychain to be a bit closer to her. It's lightweight, but a bit big. You could certainly hang it on a keychain, but it's a bit bigger than I like for my keychains. I like the design, though, and the wood feels smooth and sanded. I really do like it as a decorative piece and would recommend it.

This is an impressive work of art. I would not hesitate to buy this as a gift or as a gift for yourself as this happy buddha is absolutely beautiful.I have traveled abroad and the craftsmanship of this buddha really rivals what I have seen in some local markets.

I saw this and was too intrigued not to give it a try as I'm always on the lookout for keychains for my car key fob. I don't want anything too heavy or bulky so the fob sits in a pocket without bulging too much, and this one seemed to be a good size.It arrived in a little cloth bag and looks fantastic. It's exactly as advertised, the wood has a nice warm and smooth texture, great orangey-brownish color, and has some lightly shiny shellac or finish on it. The beads on the braided cord are a nice decoration and are securely attached. Best of all, it's light and isn't even as tall as the fob itself. Found a winner here, and maybe wheel of fortune Buddha will send some luck my way.

I love this keychain! I got the Laughing and Meditating Buddha. It's a delightful piece! It's a little under 2 inches long, is carved beautifully from Sandalwood and is on a double ring closure. Well made and expertly carved. Also attached is braided rope and wooden beads. I haven't decided where to use it yet, whether to keep in the house or with me on a key or attached to my purse. It would make a great gift and is definitely worth the price. I am happy I got this.
