It's a decent case. I've owned several Pelican cases and I'd say this one is close in quality. Both the hinges and closing clasps seem durable. The case has a rubber gasket, and the lid compresses when the clasps are closed which indicates the gasket is sealing. No vacuum lock when closed so it's easy to open. Comes with three pieces of foam padding. The hinges move freely so you don't have to force it open.And if you're like me and you prefer your cases "sterile" with no company logos on them, the logo on the lid easily comes off. It's just a sticker set in a recessed area , you just have to stick the corner of a razor blade or a pin under one corner of the sticker and peel it up an off. No sticky residue either.5 stars because I can't find anything to complain about, and I like it. I'd buy more of these.
