Instructions say do not use on "candlesticks with weighted bases, knives with weighted handles". How do I tell if my candlesticks/knives are ok or not

I can answer surely for the candlesticks. A candlestick with a weighted base has a flat base. A candlestick without a weighted base has a base that is hollow and rests on the table on the thin circular edge of the candlestick of that hollow base.All the knives that have the blade pushed inside the handle, i.e. that are not made in one piece, should not be put in a Silver bath, I think.

Yes, I clean all my EPNS cutlery etc with this. The instructions warn against using it for anything with a 'weighted' handle but I assume that applies to older items where there isn't a welded joint. My Kings pattern knives have weighted handles which are sealed onto the blade and have been fine

4 permable, aluminium faced sachets per box, you get better results using baking powder and aluminium foil

Will this bring my silver plated bracelet to like new

Probably unlikely unless the bracelet is of high quality and in good condition. The product only cleans, it does not replate, but there are products that you can use which will restore the plating to some extent

Good for small items

Product works but I had to add 3 kettles full of boiling water. So not sure if that had an effect. Cleaned up the silver but not completely. As I say it was only a candelabra but water didn't cover it all so had to keep adding more. It may be perfect on spoons and flat items.

easy to use

Easy to use and good instructions on packet but I needed to use it twice on some items and you do need a bowel big enough to lie things flat.

Miracle worker

Worth 10☆. Absolutely blown away by it's effectiveness. My silver plated coffee pot was extremely tarnished, so much so that it was blue. It came with an auction lot and was wondering what to do with it, sooooo gorgeous that I didn't want to bin it. Glad I took a punt on this product. Don't know how long it will last, will report back if I'm able to work out how to add to my review.

Wir haben super verschnörkeltes , altes Silberbesteck bekommen und ich wüsste nicht, wie man das hätte polieren können, daher der Kauf des Bades. Da die erste Anwenung das Besteck noch nicht in allen Ecken gereinigt hat, haben wir den Durchlauf wiederholt und teils auch länger einwirken lassen, was letztlich alle Verfärbungen beseitigt hat. Schäden konnte ich nicht feststellen, trotz der längeren Einwirkzeit. Gründlich abgespült danach und noch einmal mit einem stinknormalen Geschirrtuch trockenpoliert und alles glänzt einnwandfrei!

I had so many sterling silver and siver plate pieces from my grandmother that were badly tarnished! Needed the whole packet to complete the process. Be sure to follow the directions. You will be very happy with the results.
