A Versatile Endoscope that Shines with Impressive Features 🔍✨
As a self-proclaimed tech enthusiast, I was immediately intrigued by the DEPSTECH Wireless Endoscope Inspection Camera. And after putting it through its paces, I can say with confidence that this little gadget is a true standout in its class. First and foremost, the image quality is simply fantastic. The 1200P HD sensor delivers crisp, clear visuals that really showcase the impressive attention to detail in this camera. The adjustable LED lights are a game-changer, allowing me to illuminate even the darkest, most hard-to-reach corners with ease. And the flexibility of the semi-rigid cable? Positively ingenious, enabling me to maneuver the camera into all sorts of tight spaces. Now, I must admit that while the connectivity has been mostly reliable, I have experienced a few instances where the Wi-Fi connection dropped out unexpectedly. And the battery life could be a bit better, in my opinion. But these minor hiccups do little to diminish the overall appeal of this remarkable endoscope. This endoscope is an absolute workhorse! The image quality is fantastic, and I love how the LEDs provide ample lighting, even in really dark areas. Connecting it to my phone was a breeze, too. Quite frankly, I'm amazed at the level of quality and value that DEPSTECH has packed into this compact endoscope. It's a testament to their commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast, a professional tradesperson, or simply someone in search of a nifty gadget to add to your toolkit, the DEPSTECH Wireless Endoscope Inspection Camera is an absolute must-have. 💯

You can't expect too much, but useful in any event
Priced at £29.99 as at 2nd November 2020, I think that this item represents reasonable value for the money and is ideal for the DIYer, home mechanic or similar: in fact, for anyone who needs to see inside an enclosed space. So what do you get? The main unit and USB charging cable ============================== Partially charged on arrival. Took 20 minutes to take to full charge Comprehensive instructions ====================== No real difference between the quick start guide and the comprehensive instructions. Installing the app and connecting the camera and iPhone were relatively simple. The app is ok and seems quite stable on IOS. We tried it on Android and that seemed ok too. Additional ======== 3 removable heads which attach to the end which you may or may not find useful: A 90 degree mirror attachment A retrieval hook A magnet Not sure whether they will be of any value or not Operation ======== The unit itself is quite small with controls for brightness ON/OFF and reset of the unit. We particularly liked the semi-rigid nature of the fibre optic cable, however, users will need a degree of patience to manoeuvre the camera head to where exactly they want it to go. We needed to identify a leak off the inlet pipe to a toilet cistern. The pipe was routed through a roof void and rather than take the floor up, completely, we wanted to identify the exact spot. It took. a little time to familiarise ourselves with the camera operation and leaning how to manipulate the cable to get where we wanted it to, but eventually after about 30 minutes, we managed to get the head to where we wanted to look: it saved us several hours needless work. Location identified it was a simple job to cut into a section rather than remove the whole floor. It does take some skill to manoeuvre the cable and you have to be prepared to be patient. The cable being semi-rigid does help, but be prepared to insert and reinsert the cable on a few occasions to incrementally improve the view. Performance ========== This fibre optic device performs well enough for the money, but don't expect high definition images. The combination of a mobile phone, wi-fi and relatively basic optics produces a reasonable image, therefore if you are looking for a set of keys down a drain, you won't be dissapointed. Similar if you are looking, as we were for a leaking pipe, we did eventually identify what we wanted. The more complex or high definition image which you require raises the question of whether this item will be good enough. Certainly for me it is and I am pleased with it. Rating ===== 4 stars from me. Everything works ok. I really like the semi-rigid cable which is far better to manipulate into position than the cabled version which I used to use connected to a laptop. The downside is that the image quality of wi-fi is nowhere near as good as an item which is 5+ years old. I really like the convenience though of having something which effectively you can fit into your pocket. So why deduct a star, it works ok? Well. I believe that this item should come supplied with a case, something like a soft vinyl zipped case would be ideal, would cost the manufacturer pence to include and would make the set complete. I don't want to buy a separate case, I think that it should be supplied. RECOMMENDATION 1. Only charge the unit from a computer, rather than a mobile phone charger. 2. The unit has about 20 minutes operational battery capacity, therefore include a cheap battery back up charger in your kit to provide power/charge whilst operating. It takes longer than you think to get the cable into the right place. Good unit, pleased with the purchase and worth 4 stars.

Easy to set up app. Saves images and video directly to your phone.
Bought this to inspect a drain, I chose this because it said it saves images and video which it does on my phone. App is simple and straightforward to use, had app delivering images as soon as I connected my phone to the endoscope's own wifi. It couldn't be simpler. The image and build quality is good, seems tough but time will tell and because the wire is stiff you are able to push it along down in my case the drain passage. Remarkable product for the price.

Perfect for general purpose
Had a slow draining sink and it seemed that the drain trap wasn't the issue. Because of the fact that the drainage pipes were boxed in, I wanted to be sure of where the problem was before I started taking things to bits. Ordered this great piece of kit to help me with the problem. Instructions were clear and we were up and running in two minutes. I was able to clear the initial blockage and search for the second which was there. After removal of the second blockage it was clear that the whole drain system could do with a good flush, which I did. Really good bit of kit which I'm sure will be used over and again in the coming months and years. I thought these types of gadget cost the earth, but I thought it was very reasonable. One last thing, it has built-in wi-fi, connect your tablet to it and you can put the screen where you want, to view the incoming images - no messy cables. What's not to like?

Works OK but Sadly disappointed with fixed focal length and lack of manoevrability..
Would be good to inspect pipe work or just to see through a 7 mm hole in plasterboard to look for pipes or wires - or to look underneath the car where you have space to flex heather snake...BUT if you want a long look through a hole without support, think again, it’s impossible to orientate or manoevre, so basically pot luck. I bought this to trace a ceiling leak without having to cut a hole in the plasterboard - guess what - I’m still going to have to cut a hole in the plasterboard... Disappointed, but hey, it has its uses and you get what you pay for, its cheap, it works, good app on my I pad, so I’ll find a use for it, but if you want to explore spaces larger or higher than 0.5 to 0.75 metres - forget it!

Fair quality, easy to set up
Fair Quality (not true HD but good enough) Easy to set up, as it creates a local wifi hot spot that you Phone has to join (via the downloaded APP) can record a photo or video to your handset via the app -mine was missing the accessories described (have contacted the seller) -this model does NOT have adjustable LED illumination brightness and is fixed (near) focus the cable is semi rigid; which helps to guide, but equally does retain its bent memory so can take a few attempts to 'guide through' particularly if stored tightly wound. Overall rating is fair to Good for the price point and image quality.

Very impressive with this useful tool, easy to use
I bought this with Jigsaw from other supplier to replace rotten wooden decking steps. I just lift one good board and inspect all underneath to make sure not to damage jigsaw blade or good part of decking. This is very good camera, especially it is waterproof and definitely a VERY good value for money. It has endoscope with adjustable bright LED which is long stiff/flexible easy to direct and can be bendable into various angles. My friend borrowed for his kitchen drain inspection and now he is thinking of buying one. Its App is very good too, easy to use and can take pictures and record inspection too. It’s Wi-Fi endoscope gives lot of freedom to use and watch on Tablet. I am very pleased that I got one I wanted, finish my decking steps easily and so far, NO issues. In fact, I found one of my wife’s missing earing she dropped and went underneath the step through a gap between two decking. Lastly, it would be better if there was large battery, may be 900mA but its lasted for my inspection and recharged in no time.

Very useful endoscope.
Very good quality. Attachments useful. The magnet is only small but will lift a metal lock- key weighing 22 grams.(see photo). The right-angle mirror allows views at side, but of course the view is reversed right to left. You have to unscrew the small bezel to screw the attachments on - but do not lose the bezel as it projects 1mm beyond lens when refitting and protects the lens from scratches in normal use. The recommended Play store app is 'WIFI VIEW' with 10,000 plus reviews not "WiFi View" app copy ( I did not try that). To connect with wifi you have to disable mobile data and a VPN (if you have one) and connect via - Settings- Wifi - and search for the default wifi name to connect (after entering the default password). When it connects you'll see the message 'Internet may not be available'. Then open WIFI VIEW app to view image in landscape. You can change the default name and password through the app if you wish - after you have connected for the 1st time. The resolution at 1280x720 is excellent at close range (around 25mm - 100mm) but slightly fuzzy longer range. Photos and videos are app supported at lower resolution only. Charging of the WIFI sender is via an included USB/micro USB connector but you may need a 5V, 1A power supply with USB output. Overall very pleased with product.
