Santa needs to upgrade his tech knowledge
Excellent fun present for an 8 yr old girl and Dad. Much entertainment coding Mums tablet to swear when the Sphero crashed into things. Word of warning, check the compatibility of your Bluetooth- the ipad2 doesn’t connect for example, you’d think Santa would have known that the silly old fool.

Great eay to learn programing
My 10-year-old son has had it for 3 weeks, and so far we are completely satisfied with it. The Sphero itself is really sturdy and "feels" well assembled. The Lightning Lab lessons are didactic and interesting, even for an adult. We have only done 2 blocks, so there is still a lot to discover, but my son seems to be really interested in programing, which was our main goal in buying Sphero.Absolutely recommendable

Great to help learn programming
This is a great little product to help learn programming skills. Ideal for people who like something visual to happen during the learning process. Lots of resources online. Downsides are the price and battery life could be better.
