Delivery and packaging for this Item was goodI purchased two of these USB leads to use with a laptop. The build quality for is reasonable, but unfortunately there is an issue. The problem is that there is a significant delay present. I connected both an AKG 1000s mic and also tried a standard MIC.There is at least 500 ms delay from when you speak into the MIC to when it arrives at the output of the PC compared with the PC playing AudioI did try using the Asio 4 all driver and set the delay to the minimum I could get which was around 64. I was using the HDMI cable to the HD TV to deliver the sound. I also tried it but delivered the Audio out to a BOSS system using Bluetooth but the delay was even worse.I have an Alto Live 1202 mixer desk which performs beautifully, no significant audio delay, but I just tried these to see how good they were as it seemed a good idea. Perhaps someone knows of a way of how to reduce the delay but for now I couldn't recommend this solution.

Good, But the USB connector kills it (literally)
Had this cable for over a year and a half now and here is my review. The cable is decent quality. It doesn't feel like it's going to break and it's pretty thick. The XLR connector end has no problems but once we get to the other side many problems arise. The USB connector side is incredibly heavy and thick. It is long and due to its weight it put a lot of stress on the connector itself. So what do you think happened to it next ? Well, very soon after the connector slowly bent ( The plastic part that connects to the cord began to sag). Surprisingly it kept working for a while until recently when it stopped. If you will not have this plugged in 24/7 like I did you might get away with the bending, but otherwise, unless you want to support it with some string or something I advise you to stay away.I will probably not be buying another XLR to USB cable because they all seem to have this large connector. I will be switching to XLR to 3.5mm jack.

Does not perform well
I bought this to improve sound quality for our zoom music sessions. Unfortunately it is worse than going through the pc inbuilt mic. It also creates an additional hum like a fridge. Although cheap enough I would not purchase again. Much better to buy quality at a bit more expense. Any ideas what I might use this cable for?

Poor
Purchased to use with a Behringer mic - when recording you get lots of interference/whine. Cable is causing the interference as I do not have this problem with other mics and cables. Very poor - be careful when purchasing. This is not a one off. Friend also purchased cable for same reason and is also getting the same issue.

Works great, a bit quiet
Works well, although there is no control over how much preamp you can set, so the mic can come out a bit quiet

I bought this to use with my two microphones that I'm trying to use, while I stream on twitch. Although it does work and I get an audio signal. You also get a very high noise floor. (Hiss) which I would possibly put down to the cheapness of the product. But hey it is £8.50 so you can expect greatness. Not moaning just been honest.

Not a bad little gadget
In the world of audio, you do get what you pay for. It is very easy to get this cable working right away, and I had no problems using it with an SM58. Having said that, I did experience a very noticeable amount of high end interference, which is pretty hard to get rid of. I use it for recording dance music samples and ideas, so don't require a huge amount of fidelity. For the price, it's as you'd expect, if you want high-quality vocal or instrument recordings, get yourself a decent interface.Service was good and item was delivered quickly.

Paired it with a behringer xm8500 and I would not recommend.
Really noisy digital sound coming from the cable, do not use seriously if you don't want to be editing your voice to oblivion in Audacity. Paired it with a behringer xm8500 and I would not recommend.
