Bubbles after some time
It’s too sheer for privacy in a bathroom. It went on fairly easily but it bubbles after a while

White Rice Paper can be installed over itself as double thickness
We ordered this item twice, about a week apart. The two pieces of window film were slightly different lengths: the first was slightly under the stated length of 7 feet by about one-quarter inch; the second piece was longer by about 3/8 inch, but one end was not square. That is, the second piece was straight across at one end, and slightly wavy on the other end.I am an experienced window film user who was using this white rice paper film to replace a darker film on a basement emergency-egress window (two side-by-side window panes 42" x 21"). Since the first order came about 1/4-inch short of the stated length, AND because the white rice paper did not provide quite the coverage we wanted, we ordered a second piece and installed it OVER the first piece. Generally speaking, window film does not work to cover window film, but this particular rice paper has a surprising stickiness to it. We tried installing a unused piece about 4 inches wide over the first layer of film on the window, and it stayed on perfectly and provided the degree of cover we wanted. By ordering a second piece we solved the problem of the 1/4 inch gap at the bottom of one window AND the transparency issue we found with only one layer of rice paper.

Easy to install, looks good, can see through on exterior window
OK, for all the people saying this is not easy to install - Please watch a few YouTube videos to learn how. I always find 3 that seem good and then compare techniques and pick the one that will work best for me. With that, I can say that this film is no harder than any other film.1. Clean your windows, including the edges. And while you are at it, clean the track and everything else. Why not?2. Measure, remeasure. Lay out and remeasure. Cut.3. Use masking or painters tape, as they show in videos, to help peel the backing off, and then you can use the same tape to tape to the window molding while you spray the glass.4.Follow directions! Wet the glass - a lot, and even more. Put the vinyl on the window, and then use appropriate tools to smooth out.5. Use the appropriate cutting tools to cut near the window edge. Results? The windows look great. Definitely rice paper look. I had hoped they would be more opaque so I wouldn't see my neighbor's house. But since the sun comes in that window, I have a milky view. If this was on interior glass it would hide more.

Great look
This company supplied a squeegee and razor knife. Both made the job much easier. I tried another company’s film that didn’t include these two items and the job suffered. I recommend this product. I tried the “Niviy” brand and was very disappointed.

High Gloss-does not look like rice paper
Even after separating the lining, the film was super shiny. Not recommended

Nice product with included tools
After using a similar, and awful, product I didn’t want to give this a chance. The only reason I bought it was because it was the only film in the correct size that matched the area we needed it. Boy, was I wrong. This comes well packed and with all of the needed tools. The directions were very clear and I loved how easily it went up. The bottom portion of our window took under 5 minutes. The top took about 15 because I was careful around the window locks to get a great finish. All in all, it looks amazing and the installation was almost fun.

Good for indoor window uses.
If your looking for an opaque type privacy this would probably not be the film to get. I gave it a 5 star as if it was for a filtered semi translucent look. We put it up on our ground floor bedroom window. If your in the daylight looking in, it appears opaque so long as you away from the window. If it's night time and the lights are on inside, you will be able to see in from the outside. I would recommend this for office use or inner room glass door uses.We ended up taking it down and replacing it with an opaque white film. Taking this down was very difficult as it utilizes some sort of adhesive that works very well after the water is dry. To remove we poured rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and soaked the adhesive left behind when we pulled the film off. A cloth rag and some elbow grease took off the adhesive.
