DISTRICT LDN Executive Edition Mens Brown Leather Watch with Silver Face and Sub Dials Calendar Mens Watches

Searching for good looking, reasonably priced watch to use while my other was being repaired, I had been impressed by others in the 'District' range. Then I happened upon this beauty and my decision was quickly made.The contrasting polished and brushed chrome combine perfectly with the white bezel, brown leather strap and sub-dials to produce a subtle blend of 'old fashioned' traditional and modern. Looks every bit as good as photos suggest, though a trick of the light suggests the 'minute' bezel is silver, whereas, actually, it is white. No problem, just an observation. I do miss the luminosity of my other watch, so that would be a nice future addition, which would be worth paying a little extra for, and it does have a rather audible tick that I'm still not fully accustomed to. Not really an issue though as there are times when it is quite reassuring to hear. Just one small minor negative, the lower sub-dial has a scratch. It is between markings though, and you do have to look closely to notice it. However, this small lapse in quality control does not take anything away from this watch being a classic, well deserving five stars.What of my other watch? Well, currently it resides in a draw, and I'm probably more likely at present to purchase another from the 'District' range, than have it repaired. Later in the year though, as having two (or more) throws up the dilemma of choosing which to wear.

This watch feels bigger, but it is only 43 mm on the outside, so it is a medium one. It looks a solid and decent watch. Subdials work, all. Leather is strong at the beginning, but gets softer and more comfortable later. For the size it is very light. It is not for water, though. Dress watch. Happy purchase and for the price, I might get a second one or a different design from Bermont. A Welsh design with precise Japanese movement.

Nice looking watch, wanted a nice watch to wear at the weekend, got an old sekonda I wear to work.My only reason for giving it a 4 star rating is because its a little hard to read the time with the hands being the same colour as the face, other than that well nice for the price.

Lovely Men’s watch. Leather strap which is well made and worth the price alone! Don’t know how they can make a watch so cheap that looks so good! My husband has another similar District men’s watch with same strap and never takes it off and it still looks perfect and keeps good time. Also it’s not been scratched in any way, a miracle as he does loads of DIY!

Pops loved it; smart classic and elegant. I’m sure he’ll have it for years to come.

Right how do I start this. I was just looking for a cheap watch for work and going away which I wouldn't mind losing or scratching - enter the District London executive edition. Reviews looked good. The pics looked good. I ordered and was initially pleasantly surprised. A close examination reveals its cheaply made - the back pops off like a cap rather than screws off but heck it was 20 quid and it really does look nice on your wrist. Then very quickly I noticed the ticking. Like something from a horror movie the things ticks like a bomb possessed. My wife refuses to let me have it in the bedroom at night. I can't even wear it when I'm doing something quietly arround the house. The general noise of the day to day drowns it out but if you sit down to read or any other activity where the general humdrum of everyday life isn't adding white noise to your environment.... Tick tick tick tick the inevitable creeping second hand of doom will carve into your cranium like a mad brain surgeon hammering nails into your forward lobe. None of my other watches sound like this. Nuff said. A beautiful cheap watch for the deaf.

I like this watch a lot and it's great quality for the price. Only winge is that it comes without instructions and there is a button whose function I cannot fathom! Also, the supplier cannot spell " warranty "
