This is a good piece of kit. Using it for the garden pond feature. Simple to program, you might need an electrician to fit to main power.

I bought two so that I could add Christmas lights outside without the need to turn them on and off manually. At first neither worked when I set the timer which is a simple process. I then thought that I couldn’t be unlucky enough to receive two non functioning timers. Therefore, I contacted the electrician as he had taken the box and instructions away with him. On receipt of the instructions, I followed the four step timer process in EXACTLY the same order as on the instructions and hey presto they both worked. The bar needs to be switched to timer as the last step. Both are now functioning.

Timer is useful for setting 10amp car charger during low price electricity, clips are a bit on the stiff side.

Solid build quality, easy to install and works like a dream. I have used this exterior socket with timer to operate some led string lights in the garden, works treat and is so easy to programme the manual timer (Same as the ones you sometimes get on a boiler. Altogether very happy withmy purchase.

This product does not work. The timer sticks at the time it is due to turn on. Many reviewers have reported the same issue. Amazon should have this product withdrawn; this is the second unit I have had that has done this, and it happens within a day or two of installation. Do not buy this product.

All set up for Christmas lights and hopefully should last for many years. After years of extension leads, waterproof boxes etc now that you can get lights with a ip rated in-line transformer. Drilling from the back of a socket inside the house very easy to install with no mess. Just need to set the timer and can be used every year with no ease.

I’d already got an outside plug but realising I couldn’t put a timer in if so this was perfect for the job!

Not easy to find a timer switch to switch off a pond pump at night. This worked perfectly and not too fiddly to install. Working well 2 months on. Can recommend.
