Virkon S is a great disinfectant and so easy to use. It can be dissolved to make up a spray, which is an effective cleaner/disinfectant in food preparation areas and kitchens. We also use it to clean up after pets "accidents". It is approved for use in animal houses or biosecurity foot baths if you have livestock etc. This large tub makes up into a large volume of disinfectant but is convenient for storage and economical in use. Thoroughly recommended.

Have used this for the past 4 years and can't fault it. Easily mixed it can be put through a pressure washer, hand pump sprayer, back pack sprayer or even a watering can. When mixed with water it goes pink and smells great, a lot nicer than any other heavy duty disinfectant that I've used. If you have any left over it will keep for about four days. The way I use Vircon S is after pressure washing the areas to be cleaned, mix up the amount you think you'll need in a bucket. Let it sit five minutes then stir it again. All the wee gritty bits should have dissolved by this time so you can pour it into which ever dispenser you choose. Give the area to be treated a good soaking, don't be miserable with it. I will then leave it sit for about three hours. I don't rinse it off after application. Animals can be let back onto the area after this time. I use this on aviaries housing raptors and have never had any problems whatsoever.
