It worked well for putting gold/silver/copper leaf on a mixed media art project

Versatile, used it first time, trying out new things, worked really well. Gives a raised surface. You can spread it thinly if you don’t want it raised. The nozzle allows you more control over the design. I just freestyled the above design in the photos but I I also made personalised key rings and drew the insignias in pencil first.

This does work with the silver sheets, but I couldn’t get an even coverage allover, so that’s why it only gets 4 stars. Maybe I need to practice more.

Excellent adhesion even in hot weather I was able to do a 2 foot run a time then apply my mock gold leaf sheet to it. Gave impressive results.

I bought this so I could gold-leaf detailed reliefs and to be honest it's not very good. It dries relatively flat despite the viscosity of the sizer, in comparison to a regular sizer its much thicker consistency yet dries to about the same. It has a weird lingering smell, it's kind of chemically like a toned-down UHU smell despite no health and safety warnings on the label. it says an hour to 2 working time which is accurate but unlike other sizers where you have at least a 24 hour working window this is perhaps only 3 maybe 4 hours max before the stickiness is sub par, a minor bonus point is that it washes off easily with warm water after a little soak. The tip of the nozzle is approx 0.8mm so its fairly small, I would recommend washing it out with water after each use so it doesnt clog up. Would I buy this knowing what I know now? nope, the overall effect this makes is more diy than professional, it almost looks unintentional/messy because of how streaky it comes out.

I used this over a stamped image and feathered the lines using a wet paint brush to get a soft lacy edge effect. Dries quickly enough to not be annoying, yet slowly enough to be able to work with it first. It also washed out of the paint brush easily, so I didn't end up with a manky, ruined paint brush, bonus!

I loved how easy it was at first to use this, but unfortunately, the fine nozzle does get glued up, hence i have only given 4 stars. After it has dried for an hour or two, I rub gold leaf or foil over the top to give a lovely finish to my handmade greeting cards.
