Excellent clippers! Brought these as its not possible to get a haircut during lockdown. Having never cut my own hair before I was a little anxious but these clippers are super easy to use & cut really well, the colour coded attachments helpd a treat. Be sure to watch/follow some video posts on a well known website before hand & start with a higher grade & work your way down (if needed). Personally think, i'll be cutting my own haircut with these clippers from now on as there possibily, just as good as the barbers. Well worth the money, you cant go wrong, just be patient & take your time whilst trimming. As for build quality: the clippers felt solid & balanced whilst trimming. Cant comment about battery life just yet however with the clippers being cordless meant I didnt have to battle with any wires whilst using them. Would highly recommend this product with confidence

I bought this workhorse for manscaping after my dog started barking at me in the night having mistaken me for a Gorilla. I mostly use it with a 2 or 3 guard just to help bring down the dense, dense jungle-matter if it gets a bit too much. Don't get me wrong, I'm no hairless dolphin-smooth spiceboy, but every few months it starts to look like I'm smuggling seaweed in my pants with a shoe brush sticking out my top, so needs must.It's a good quality item, as is the little bag and accessories it comes with, and is very easy to use, especially helpful having the little colour key on the unit to help you pick the right colour guard up quickly. It cuts all hair types and weights with great ease and holds it's charge very well! I opted for the rechargable version of the clipper as I don't like the feeling of being bolted to the wall or tripping over anything whilst shaving – this ape likes to roam whilst it grooms. It's got that quality feel and weight to it that let's you know you've chosen well which is always nice.I also bought a bottle of the Wahl clipper oil at a very good price which is great and really helps to give an effortless glide to the cut. I've taken to using this oil regularly with my embarrassingly vast array of grooming tools so I'd definitely recommend this also.

I bought these as a cordless replacement for another pair of Wahl clippers that have lasted 15 years. Those clippers still work fine, although the plastic grades have become brittle and started breaking. I wanted a cordless replacement, and was attracted to these clippers by the nice design and colour-coding that make it easier to identify the different grades, and my previous experience with Wahl clippers. The clippers themselves are much lighter and easier to handle than my previous pair, though it lacks the taper lever adjustment that my last pair had. This would have been a useful (but not essential) addition to this model, which I would have used if present, but didn't even think to check if it was a feature on this model. The guide combs clip on and off okay, though they feel like they might become a bit fragile doing this after many more future uses. I was impressed by the power of the clippers, and quality of its cutting. The key differences between this and the more expensive upgrade of this model seem to be that the latter has a lithium-ion battery and a taper lever, neither of which justifies a price tag more than twice this model, particularly since the battery in this model delivers enough power and battery life to use for at least 1 person's haircut. If this model had the taper lever too, I would have given it 5 stars.

Purchased during UK lock down as both my husband son were desperate for a haircut. Never used clippers before so a little worried about creating a dodgy "Do".......up side is it's lock down and the hair can re-grow!The clippers arrived earlier when expected, in good condition and contained all parts stated on the packet. The clipper had a small charge which showed it was in working order so I oiled the blades and then plugged it in for a full charge.Husband's cut was relatively easy as he only required a number 3 and 4 with the clippers, we started with a 6 and took it shorter until he was happy with the length. My son (22) had much longer hair and wanted a fade with a longer top.....great!Watched a number of YouTube clips on "how to cut hair for beginners" before duct taping him to a chair. Clipped the longer top hair out of the way and started clipping the back, starting on the longest setting and working shorter until he was happy with the length. Used the scissors to blend it in nearer the top section. The scissors included in the pack are not great but did the job. Used them to trim the top section too. Both my son and I were surprisingly pleased with the finished cut.Would recommend this product if you are in a similar position and have not cut your own hair before...also watch a few instructional videos before starting, really helps in how to hold and use them correctly.

I bought this because although I already have one of them, which I've had for over 30 years, and which still works amazingly well, I needed one without a lead for use in hospital. It works really well, is super clean cutting and comes with a great range of trimmer blades to cut the hair different lengths, including two which are left and right sided for cutting around the ears. All colour coded too which makes life easier at trimming time.It comes with a charging lead, a carry case which is black fabric but very sturdy and it has scissors, a comb, a cover to protect clothing during hair cutting, a small cleaning brush and oil for the blades all included. And it comes with a small booklet that describes different haircuts.All in all I am deeply impressed with it. It has proved very handy for my husband who has used it in hospital, and will be more practical for taking on holidays in future. It also charges up really quickly.Would definitely recommend. Very good value for money.
