No contest.
Power-line devices to network a Samsung Smart TV were first tried and initially this system did work well enough. However, the plug-in devices failed after a short period of use: the first set of two devices did work but one failed and the manufacturer, under guarantee, supplied a replacement twin-pack; and within a short period two more devices failed (three out of four within 18 months is more than a minor fault!). An alternative brand was bought from Amazon; and from that twin-pack one device failed within four months and the product pack returned for a refund (very efficiently and quickly dealt with!). Lessons learned and the obvious alternative, the Samsung toggle looked eye-wateringly expensive and was easily dismissed: what about an Ethernet cable but it would need to be lengthy to bridge the gap between the locations of the router and Samsung TV? Read the reviews for the 10m cable and noted the inclusive of postage price: worth a try and not much risk on the latter! The cable arrived within the stated time-frame and was duly connected within the hour: even at 10m the carpet had to be lifted and the cable passed underneath. It's early days and, in spite of the initial doubts about this cable (too good to be true!) it offers quite amazing value: it is early days but so far the perfomance is faultless and the HD screen display and overall performance is indistinguishable from the Power-line devices (when working!). For networking, it has to be said, the cable at this price is tough to beat: hell yes, it really is up for the task.

Good for 200mbps + speeds
Used this to connect my WiFi mesh nodes from living room to landing to boost internet speed upstairs. The speed was quite good at 100mbps. With mesh each node halves the internet speed between each node it passes through unless they’re hardwired together. but I pay for 200mbps internet so I decided to hook the nodes together via Ethernet cable and this does the job. I am now getting 200mbps+ upstairs so I’m pleased
