Amazing Arcade Stick (Easy To Mod)
Superb I'm using on pc and have easily upgraded all buttons and joystick to Sanwa. Simple to mod no soldering as the boards compatible with JST-XH female to female cable so just plug into the new Sanwa Joystick JLF-TP-8YT and the board works perfect and use 30 mm buttons except for start 24mm. This is a amazing stick even the standard buttons and stick are great for a novice or causal plasyer. It's also easy to custom art just download the template from the Mayflash site. It's big enough to use on your lap too and a good weight. I thought build quality was excellent. Also tried on Android works like a charm. But for console you do need to plug a gamepad in for it to work. Highly recommend so glad I bought this over more expensive as even with the high quality Sanwa parts it's still cheaper but that's your choice.

Quality Fightstick
A fantastic value for money purchase. I bought this stick after around 20 hours of Tekken 7 and a lifetime of fighting game experience. If you are looking for an "affordable" stick, I would recommend the F500 more than anything. It comes by default with a square gate installed (octagon gate included in the order) and a customizable plate on top. Easy to switch out components, too. For a starter stick, this is definitely the one I would recommend (sticks cheaper than the F500 generally deliver on price, they don't last long and they don't perform too well over time). The F500 is compatible natively with PS3, Xbox360 and of course PC. It is not natively compatible with the PS4, however most games on PS4 have their own internal decoders that let legacy fightsticks such the F500 work. Would recommend.

Great affordable product.
Even though I unfortunately had to return this item I shall leave a review nonetheless. This is a great product for the average person to use, its got a good weight to it and is a perfect size to rest on your lap and use along with being so easy to Mod and customize. The buttons weren't overly loud and were very responsive to anything you done. If the stick was a bit more sensitive and you didn't have to use as much force for inputs I would have kept this with no doubts in my mind - The only problem I had with this is that I have a permanent injury to my left wrist so even a short session gave me quite a bit of pain from using the stick.

Good. Works for Soul Calibur VI
Good fight stick, decent size for me as I have big hands so I skipped on the F300. You take it out the box, update the drivers, plug it in (Use a MagicBoots, I only have recent Xbox One pads so it was a must for me) and off you go. Have to make sure you start the game with the stick I found, otherwise the pad takes priority. I like the squaregate that is already installed as I find it easier to do diagonal inputs with it. I think this item may have been returned, it has a little wear. Could just be due to the way it was packaged though. Nothing major, a little tiny scratch and one of the anti slip pads on the bottom has come loose. Nothing big enough for me to deduct a star or feel negative about the item. It would be nice if the entire bottom had that antislip padding in my opinion but it's weighty enough for it to not move about. Might replace the buttons at some point, might not. They feel decent enough to me.

Possibly the best fightstick I'll ever have
This is my second ever fightstick after years of using the Madcatz TE2. I sold that stick a few years ago but after recently getting into Tekken 7, I thought I'd need a new one. The Mayflash F500 in my opinion is an even better stick than the premium priced £200 Madcatz TE2. For £85~ the F500 gives you buttons and a stick that feel freakishly similar to sanwa parts, with the easy option to swap them out for genuine sanwas if you really want to. The most noticeable thing about this stick is it's weight. If you set this on your lap or on your desk it isn't going anywhere, the large metal base gives it such a premium weight and feel to the product that you feel really satisfied with your purchase. Last but not least, the real kicker is that this stick is universal, I am shocked that I only paid £83 for this controller and can use it on every console I own, as well as my PC. I really can't recommend this product enough for FGC enthusiasts or beginners, you won't be disappointed.

Good, great value fightstick
The Mayflash F500 is a great value arcade fight stick. It's very big, feels sturdy on the desk and on the lap and to be honest, the built-in joystick and buttons aren't too bad. I was going to replace them with genuine Sanwa parts, but after playing with the stick for a few weeks, I didn't feel any urgency to replace them immediately. Perhaps I will upgrade them in a few months instead. I did, however, replace the 4-way joystick plate with the 8-way that came in the box and now I can play Street Fighter much better. I have so far tested the stick on a Raspberry Pi running RetroPie and Emulation Station as well as on a Mac Mini 2012 running macOS Mojave with Mame and AttractMode.

Prone to Failure Avoid This Product
Incredibly poor quality fightstick. Within a few months of use one of the buttons began to malfunction, after replacing it, one of the directional buttons began to malfunction.

For the price, it is a really good arcade/fight stick, also really easy to mod because of it's standard sized parts.

The stick works as good as it's advertised, a great stick for beginners. I have been playing fightpad for 20 years + so switching to stick is like a new thing for me, the stick has some weight and the faceplate is bigger so it's food for bigger hand folks (like me) so that I can rest my hand on the stick. I have been playing it a few days the original buttons aren't too sensitive, I guess that's why they offer easy modifications, which I highly recommend to mod it to sanwa parts. Overall it's a great stick under decent price!

My wife got this for me as an early birthday present. I am not in the least bit disappointed. I own all 4 consoles that this works on but rather than plug it in to the Xbox one or ps4 n try it with tekken 7 or injustice 2, I took it for a spin on my PS3 n played all my childhood favorites. I started with pacman and Galaga which were on the Namco museum vol 1. Then moved up to mortal kombat arcade trilogy then king of fighters and marvel vs capcom 2. My daughter came in the room and wanted to try her hand at metal slug so we played that for an hour or so. Last but not least on the ps3 we had the 2 of my favorite games as a kid, the simpsons arcade and xmen. For the ps3 this stick works awesome. I tried it with the stock gate it came with which is the square. I don't know much about fight sticks or mayflash or sanwa (which I read is compatible with this model) but I do know the plate didn't feel like the arcades I played in as a child. The box did contain an octagonal plate which I swapped out almost 10 minutes into trying it. I wanted to see if it would change my ability to play. Sure enough, I didn't miss any hadukens or any specials in marvel vs capcom 2. Plays super smooth and has no noticeable lag. I don't own any other fight sticks to compare it to but I will probably buy a mayflash f300 in the future to compare it to and so that when someone comes over to the mancave we can relive those classic arcade games once more. I can't wait to try killer instinct and tekken 7. Only thing I didn't like was the position of the port that you need to connect your controller to. I will more than likely end up getting magicboots but wanted to try the peripheral itself before spending more than I needed to in case the product wasn't up to par with expectations. Luckily my lovely wife gave me the best gift I've had in gaming in a long time. So now that I've tried this, I'm definitely buying the magicboots so I no longer have to drag a controller along with the fight stick. Ps3 is plug n play no controller needed. Not sure about the 360 or Xbox one. Ps4 has to be connected. The stick itself has a nice weight to it, it's easy to open and mess around with customization. Overall it plays great. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a good product at a great price. I wouldn't pay $200 for a "pro" fight stick. This is good enough at half the price. I don't know much about pro peripherals but this has definitely made me a better player.
