Great masking tape
Great value for money... when the price was £2.99. Funny how when I was going to purchase another one the price had jumped up... In regards to the quality of the product, it was good. Not too sticky so it doesn't leave residue, and good enough for paint not to bleed through. I used this tape in a wood craft project and it worked well when I needed crisp lines when painting with acrylic paint. It was also good in that it is nice and thin, saves having to cut wider tape into thinner pieces if you're working on something with fine details or a small craft project.

Quality product
There are many masking tapes on the market and I have bought quite a few. I go back to this product. Minimal bleeding when used properly. A little bit more expensive but saves time in the long run.

The best modelling tape, but always a bit overpriced
I've tried a lot of non-branded masking tape for modelmaking, but I always keep some fines Tamiya tapes as there is no good alternative.

The best masking tape for painting models etc
Tamiya masking tape designed for fine line painting on models etc , no embossed edges so no bleed of the paint unlike normal masking tape

Excellent tape
This is exactly the correct width for my masking needs. The tape does not feel excessively tacky, yet stops 100% of the paint from seeping underneath, resulting in clean, sharp lines- and I was using solvent based paint. I have never been able to find any other masking tape which is as good. I would not consider purchasing anything else. The price is excellent and although it takes a while (approx. 4 weeks) to arrive via airmail from Japan, it is definitely worth ordering. I even got a little origami bird hidden in the packaging which was a personal touch and a nice surprise :)

The best
Due to the recent developments, I decided to start using this to make my own face masks, but found it was both uncomfortable and made breathing quite difficult. It has excellent adhesion properties, as I found when attempting to peel it from my eye ball as I inadvertently stuck it on there. After an unsuccessful masking attempt and a visit to the Hospital, I decided to self isolate and take up painting my models, it was then when I found this tape was the best thing in the world to get trouble free, clean paint lines on my models, until they objected and left me.

Good modelling tape.
The nice thing about this tape is it’s low tack…. Peels off without damaging existing areas, and seals very well with little bleed under. To stop this, once tape is in place, run a brush with acrylic varnish along the inner edge and corners especially and let dry before painting inside the tape…. Stops bleeding a treat as it forms a seal.
