It works for me - I can only hope it works for You
I am going to state the obvious that it seems so many miss, especially the people making these units. There is only one way to know if any of these wrist supports, night stabilizers & claims are even close to being true & that is to buy & try. This of course is a huge part of the problem with these companies making claims that these wrist supports will do pretty much everything. That however brings us to a huge problem the old jack of trades master of none scenario most of these supports try or claim to do just way to much so much so it is obviously at best false advertisement. I no longer care as I just keep returning them at their expense. That brings me to this unit I have carpal tunnel & arthritis this has been by far the best support I have tried (& I have had to try a lot to get here). Because of that not sure how great this would be for a stroke & judging by the reviews apparently that assumption is correct. I can't say if this will help you or not only that it helped me - these are not easy items to review & most companies selling them are not even trying to make it easier - guess they are just hoping you won't bother to return them.

Rigid enough but too curved at the palm and fingers
I've gotten a blue one for the right hand for resting at night. I was looking for something that would be rigid enough in order to keep my fingers from curling up. This splint does the job, however, it's shape is quite curved by default and the thumb part is right underneath the palm area. My contraction problem needs to promote the extensor muscles to remain straight... So I'll try to forcefully unbend the splint to have it more flat. Otherwise, after removing it, my hand is back in a clenched position? Makes no sense. However the finger separator with loops for each finger is quite engenuitive.

Comfort
This brace is perfect for what I needed. Stabilizes my wrist and fingers. The separation of the fingers is extremely comforting. Fit my hand right out of the box; Lightweight, and the shape is perfectly ergonomic

How do they fit?
I bought both left and right splits. I have rheumatoid arthritis. I have my hand therapist helping with adjusting these splints and she has had trouble adjusting them for my hands. I have hypermobilty in my thumbs and adjustments for that issue aren’t working. I have to return them.
