Q: One reviewer said that the rail was painted black - the concern being that metal hangers would strip off the paint. Is this true?

We've been using the rail now for a full four months in our charity shop sorting room, thus gets very heavy usage, especially sliding metal and plastic hangers in a wet atmosphere, as we steam clothes whilst hanging on this rail. No evidence of black paint coming off at all. in fact we.ve been extremely pleased with the quality and would recommend it to anyone.

Q: is it easy to put up and dismantle, between use?

I bought three of these about a year ago, to temporarily hang clothes in a spare room at my Mum's home, between my house move. I tried to dis-assemble them today, ready for transportation to my new address. I was unable to dismantle the items as they are pretty well stuck fast It's not a disaster, as I can remove them whole, but I'll need to borrow a mate's van, rather than take the pieces in my car. Nonetheless, they've done the job in the meantime and I'm glad I got them.

Q: How do I get the wheels on

A good bang with a rubber mallet on the metal part (not the wheel) worked for me.
