Waterproof speakers for damp areas such as bathrooms can cost a fortune. I opted for these speakers instead, which at the time cost $15 for the pair (they're twice that now). I installed them in the wall of my bathroom, and tucked a bluetooth amplifier inside the cabinet under the sink. There's a nice switch on the wall, and the power is supplied from a transformer in the garage. This obviously isn't the product's intended use but it works well. I listen to Scott Adams, Andrew Klavan, Ben Shapiro, and other brilliant podcasters while showering, and I no longer have to strain to hear my phone's tiny speaker. Truly an excellent audio experience. The sound doesn't have to be studio quality here. It's full range and loud enough.
