Doubled Volvo EX40 charge rate
The cable supplied with car restricted charge current to 16A/phase, regardless of maximum value given in Settings. I now get the all the current available from 7kW and 22kW EV chargers, usually 30A from 7kW giving roughly 2x added range.The Volvo only has an 11kW on-board charger so I still only get 16A on 3-phase chargers. This is a correction to previous post.I now get about 20 miles/hour on 7kW ‘slow’ chargers and 30/hour on 11kW AC and above.It looks a robustly made, reliable product.
