Great way to keep little ones entertained on the go, in restaurants, cars and on the plane. I got these for my kids and they’ve been a perfect entertainment source. The quality is really good. The color is vibrant and the firefighter design is really fun for those fire truck enthusiasts in your life.

I don't have any other drawing tablets to compare value and features, but I went for an established name, being burnt so many times on off brand merchandise. The "hero" look is cute, and I am probably a little too old for it, but as a healthcare provider I find it appropriate! The tablet is easier to use in landscape (in my opinion). In portrait position, the stylus is located in a slot on the bottom of the tablet, and the eraser button is at the top. On the back are two magnetic strips which can be used to affix to a fridge or filing cabinet. The red case holds the tablet securely and it is easy to remove. The stylus is a decent size, not too tiny for my fingers and makes a clearly visible print on the tablet. The color is a distinct green, which is very easy to read. I notice some other tablets seem to have a graduated color, going from blue to green, which I don't care for. The only thing I don't like, and it's not a design fault, is the fact that you have to erase the whole board when you are done. You can't save one line and erase the rest. But I can work around it. If I organize my daily work using it, I simply check off what I have done as I am doing it.. Overall, I am happy with it..

The main reason I purchased this, as opposed to other drawing tablets, is because I already own three of the Boogie Board brand. The three I have, have absolutely held up well, and have withstood car trips, doctor visits and every day life of small kids and toddlers. However, as compared to other drawing tablets available on Amazon, it’s very overpriced for what it offers. A tablet about 3 inches bigger was $20 less and even featured different colors areas of writing. The Boogie Board is super cute with the fireman theme, but I don’t feel that alone is worth the price difference. And I was truly saddened by the fact that it didn’t come with any extra accessories for the price. Overall, given that there are more affordable options for the same type of drawing board, I probably would not purchase again.

I've tested many similar products, and while functionally this one works as expected, it is the most expensive, by a lot, the smallest, by a lot, and the least featured, by a lot. The single main feature of these is the screen lock button, which this unit lacks. Every time you pick it up, move it or set something on it, whatever was drawn or written down gets messed up. Not worth it when there are so many other larger, cheaper, and more fully featured models out there.

This limited-edition Boogie Board Jot is perfect for kids. Nicely designed, lightweight, and easy to carry. The stylus is easy for kids to hold and stores securely below the LCD screen. The LCD screen is not overly sensitive where it would show thumb or fingerprints marks when pressed onto the screen. I like that this Boogie Board has magnets on back so it can be put on the refrigerator. It also comes with a tray to use when it’s not used on a metal surface. While this is thin and seems like it might be easily broken, I think it will last. Boogie Board is a good brand. We’ve had a Brookstone Boogie Board that has lasted for years. It was mostly used by a child who got a lot of writing time out of despite being rough on it. I will update this review if there are any issues with this Boogie Board, but for now it gets 5 stars in overall rating.

This erasable writing tablet comes ready to go with a button battery already installed. This particular tablet has a ‘fireman’ theme going for it. When you want to erase the board there is a button at the top in the middle of the fireman symbol. The bottom of the tablet has a firetruck grill with head lights (decorative only).The tablet snaps into a backing board for extra stability and it also hides the battery compartment. This tablet is very sturdy and well made. I think the price point is a bit high, however I have 2 less expensive tablets and they also feel much cheaper. This feels like you could definitely make it through a few kids and also be able to pass it on to others when your kids outgrow it. The stylus on this tablet is held very securely and in fact it is a bit hard to get out. There is a place to run a thin cord through one end in order to secure it to the tablet, but I did not see a place you could attach it to the board.. I used my finger to get under the far right end of the stylus to lift it out.I would purchase this again and it is very suitable to give as a gift. It doesnt come in a box but it does have a hard plastic shell around it.

I love that the pen/drawing tool clicks in place so it can travel well! This has been used for over a month and has latest week through some drops and usual kiddo wear on things. The design of the fire truck as a bit hit as well!I recommend this.

This drawing tablet is a gift from the gods when it comes to travelling with kids. It's good for infinite games of tic tac toe, picture guessing games, keeping score tallies, and etc on into the sunset.While the drawing space was smaller than we'd anticipated, the ability to make sharp, crisp lines, and the one-button-push eraser for the whole screen is really cool.Now if we could just get the kids to share it better!
