Works perfectly, no set up required. I opened the package, put the batteries in and used it. No programing required. We have a new 85" Samsung. My husband has difficulty keeping track of the remote. This Vizio Smart TV remote worked immediately as soon as batteries were put in. No programming was required. Our initial remote was worn and tattered but still worked. It has a weird delay and you have to press twice sometimes. Very suspicious and odd. It lacks the full functionality but it was a good price for a replacement.

This product works very well! My mom lost the origami remote to the Vizio and so I ordered one and I’ve had it for a while and no problems so I ended up ordering another! Great quality!

Wasn't sure if it would work for my TV with the extra buttons (Disney and prime shortcuts) although those buttons do not work for my TV, everything else does as it should. Very good replacement remotes. Very happy with them

This unit paired immediately with my Samsung TV, (QN60Q60 BAF), no problem at all. The control buttons are pretty much self explanatory. You get what you pay for. The controller feels light and cheap and is not well made for my hands. It often takes several button clicks to get your wish from the TV. But hey this TV is in a quest cabin my Grand Kids will be fine with it and lose it the first day. So, the second controller from this purchase will save the day. In my situation I am happy with it. If you want a more solid, ergonomic unit. spend more money.
