Double Closure Abdominal Hernia Binder; Abdominal Hernia Support; Reduction Device (Large)

After dealing with a hernia above my belly button for 3 weeks I finally ordered this band and have had no problems with my hernia in three days. I am a maintenance worker in an industrial plant and this band is the only thing that has helped me get through the work day. It’s very comfortable and seems durable. I can’t say enough good about this thing!

Needs more stays to keep from rolling. Easy to put on and provides good support. When it rolls it pinches.

My wife developed a hernia from her many cancer treatment surgeries. This Alpha abdominal support works. We've tried 1 or 2 others for comfort, but do not provide the excellent support of this one. The only thing is that eventually the stays may work loose and poke. To solve this, I hand see at the ends of the stays on arrival for reinforcement, problem solved. Now, if they produced a "summer" material for comfort in our hot weather, I would buy in bulk. We have recommended this Alpha brace to other patients at the Cancer center. Excellent product, will purchase again.

It's a tad too small for what the sizing chart says. I got a medium because of the measurements I went by on this chart. I should've went a size bigger.

I love this binder. I have a gigantic incisional ventral hernia from an abdominal surgery and I am waiting to have it surgically repaired. So in the meantime I Purchased this binder and it works wonders in terms of giving me the support I need and keep the hernia mostly intact so it doesn’t protrude out of my abdomen. Unfortunately I have to order a new one every week to 1 1/2 weeks because my hernia pushes so hard against it that it stretches it out. I have ordered many other binders off of Amazon and have gotten some from the hospital and this one works the best because of the double closure. I order a small because I am only 5 foot three and weigh about 120 pounds. I’m actually hoping to use this post surgery also.

Just having open ventral hernia repair surgery and having a large incision, I have now tried alot of binders. Most are uncomfortable and roll down which doesn't help. This one is so much better then all the rest! I wear it over my shirt so I have a little more padding while my incision heals, but the double closure makes it so much more supported. Helps when sleeping also! I'm going to order a 2nd!

Belt was very warm which made it uncomfortable to wear.

Go up a size. Runs small.
