Great standing mats for office and home - very pleased!
I bought three of these mats in the dark brown color - one for my office (for use with my new standing VariDesk) and two for my kitchen (my spouse has significant back problems and wanted something to stand on while doing dishes, cooking, etc.) I must say I'm very pleased. The size is just right for office and home. At work, when I'm sitting, I keep the mat on the floor elsewhere in a non-trafficked part of my office, so my office chair is not on the mat. When I choose to stand, I move the chair aside and put the mat down. I ditch the shoes and stand in socks on the mat. It makes a HUGE difference. I found myself standing comfortably for 5+ hours yesterday and didn't realize it. You'll figure out what works best for you in terms of the amount of time standing, etc., but no question, having the mat maximizes comfort and minimizes potential pain. Wear nice dress socks or hose as opposed to shoes. You won't benefit from the mat if you're wearing shoes, plus it's not good for the mat, I imagine. In the kitchen, the mats are perfect if you're wearing slippers, socks, or even if you're barefoot. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that I liked how they look in the kitchen. Pick a color that complements your prevailing kitchen colors. I picked the dark brown because the dining table is dark brown and the main kitchen rugs and the cabinets are beige/khaki/brown. Big thumbs up from me and my spouse - the mats really help even while standing for only a few minutes to cook or whatever. They are not flimsy, so they won't move around a lot on your tile, but we find they do move a little bit. Not a big deal, and you could secure them somehow, but we haven't seen the need. I recommend these mats - so glad I found them! They are currently on sale (59 vs 79), and even then they are priced slightly higher than similar mats, but I think the nominal extra cost got me the best possible product that works. These are excellent quality and seem like they will last a long time. NOTE: The manufacturer asked Amazon to ship these mats flat, and not rolled, which is super important and great. These mats should not be rolled or stored "standing up." So when they arrive, you'll get a BIG box because the mats are laying flat in the box, with packing paper on top. I even loved the big box for storing random stuff in the garage. :)

Order this mat!
Most comfortable, supportive kitchen mat available. Truly thick, my hip pain has lessened while doing dishes, cooking on stove.

Stellar Support: Elevating My Standing Desk Experience with the Perfect Mat
Short Review: The mat arrived promptly and well-packaged. It's a good size, fitting perfectly with my standing desk. Although I'll need more time to evaluate its long-term effects, it currently feels decent, offering quality and comfort under my feet. I recommend it for those working from home with a standing desk. Long Detailed Review: I was pleased with the timely arrival and secure packaging of the mat. It unfolded to reveal a good size, aligning seamlessly with the dimensions of my standing desk. The initial impressions are promising, but I believe a comprehensive assessment requires a few weeks of use. The softness underfoot is notable, providing a comfortable surface for extended periods of standing. It contributes to a more ergonomic work environment, which is crucial for those embracing a standing desk lifestyle. The quality of the mat is evident in its construction, and it seems durable enough to withstand regular use. While I can't speak to the long-term effects just yet, the initial comfort and quality bode well for the mat's potential benefits. It's clear that the design caters to the needs of individuals working from home, especially when paired with a standing desk setup. In conclusion, based on the current positive aspects, I recommend this mat for anyone seeking a comfortable and supportive addition to their standing desk workspace. As I continue to use it in the coming weeks, I'll be sure to update my review with any further insights into its durability and impact on overall work comfort.

Great quality and just the right size
Dear Amanda, (Don’t worry - this will make sense in a minute or two.) Amanda, we haven’t met yet; in fact, there is a good chance we never will. But I’ve been asked by the makers of Sky Mat to tell you a little bit about the purchase you are about to make. Yeah - you’re going to buy this anti-fatigue floor mat by clicking that little mustard-yellow Add to Cart button. But let me talk you through this first. Don’t worry - it will still be in stock when we’re done. First, Mike Tecku - the co-founder of this manufacturer - assures me that there is no finer anti-fatigue mat made anywhere in the solar system. From the correspondence he has sent me, I’m pretty sure he has checked this by personally visiting every place in our planetary orbit that could sustain life. Second, would you even be on this page at Amazon if you were not looking for a fine quality mat? Seriously, how long have been getting by with that cheap dog bed you bought at Costco on the kitchen floor, pretending it was an anti-fatigue floor mat? You’re not fooling anyone, and besides, it isn’t all that comfortable, getting all lumpy and wet. No Amanda, you came to this page on Amazon to find a decent size mat that would look good and provide a maximum of comfort while you cook your handsome family’s dinner, clean up after them and wash the dishes at the sink. So why buy this mat by Sky Mat when there are others available for sale on Amazon? I thought you’d never ask. First, if you’re a child of the 1950’s, you may remember the epic Saturday morning 30 minute TV thriller “Sky King” featuring Schuyler King, Penny, Clipper and starring, of course, Songbird as the plane. Well, Sky Mat is Sky King’s cousin. True Fact. Maybe. Second, you’re tired of wimpy little one-size-better-fit-all mats that barely cover the ground you need. This baby comes in a size to embarrass your next door neighbor with her tiny little postage stamp sized kitchen mat. I purchased a Sky Mat that is 70 inches wide, almost enough to stroll on. It covers that awkward distance between the kitchen sink and the dishwasher, eliminating those water drops on the floor that ruin the woodwork. Third, if I know anything about you, Amanda, and I don’t, I know that you want both Quality and Value. Summed up, that means nothing is too good for you unless, of course, you can get something cheaper at Walmart. But that involves driving over there and possibly having your car stolen from the parking lot. You can buy this elegant Sky Mat merely by clicking that yellow button, and feel assured that you are putting good honest Americans to work in the Sky Mat fulfillment center located just a few miles outside of Pumpkin Hook, New York. And you mentioned quality, didn’t you? Well, these mats are made to last. They are thick enough to provide standing comfort without being mushy, and none of us can stand mushy, can we? The material seems very durable and has an attractive appearance with a fine check pattern on the top surface. Value? I shopped all over for a w-i-d-e mat and this one from Sky Mat was the least expensive by at least $35. Heck of a deal and it came in a box that your neighbors will think is a 65 inch HDTV being delivered. In fact, put the box back on the doorstep and see if your neighbors attempt to “borrow” your new television from your porch. Anyway, Amanda, Mike Tecku - that Co-founder I mentioned earlier - told me that you would be looking at anti-fatigue mats here and begged me to post my review with the hopes that it would bring me fame, honor and possibly a spot on the $100 bill. Frankly, I think George McGovern has a better chance for that last accolade. Whatever. Click that button - - - Now! And do something about those neighbors, too.

This is a great mat
This is a great mat, which I have purchased multiple times. I do wish it would last a little longer, but it is in pretty high traffic place.

Attention Amanda Hamilton: TOP PRIORITY
Stardate: 41254.7. It is a gloomy day in Oklahoma with a light haze indicating a decrease in temperature with heightened humidity. Weather predictors are saying rain. Which is good for the soul. I am writing this message to reply back to the top priority message delivered by mailer skybot on October 21, 2045 from Mike Tecku, cofounder of SkyMats. (the cozy cushy mat to keep your feet happy-(that should be sung as a jingle in your head). I found it hard to believe that I had the power to change the course of history. Little did I know that the cushion proclaimed by Mike was indeed something other-wordly. How could I have known that anti-fatigued feet was a thing? I now find it imperative that I share this wisdom with other fellow owners of painful feet and moaning backs and leave this review. As indicated in my URGENT message from Mike with SkyMat, Amanda Hamilton should be reading this review, trying to decide if this mat is the mat of her dreams. Amanda- if you are out there. YES. yes it is. I have been stabilizing my 5'3 inch 179 pound female frame on my black SkyMat for almost a year now, holding on to my URGENT message from Mike, just waiting for the right time to write this review. Today is the day, Amanda. The day I tell you about SkyMats and how my life has been altered by the cozy comfort it provides. It is my hope that my tale is recited by school children for years to come and my face blesses the $100 bill. Amanda, and all those who follow, let it be known that SkyMats ARE just as comfortable as the other reviews indicate. Do my feet still hurt? Hell yes they do. But I am attributing that to my Chuck Taylors and my slightly over-weighted...ness. (I'm working on it, people) I stand at my desk for 8 hours a day and I am still able to maintain my cheery disposition and sunny attitude towards life. Anti-Fatigued?? Well yes, actually, I do have energy when I get home after a hard day of standing all day! (Just ask my husband. (wink wink)). My thighs and butt are firmer and can withstand more... standing... than they could a year ago. (Again, ask my husband-he'll tell you so) My back doesn't hurt like it did during my -pre-standup desk days. And this, my fellow readers, THIS IS WHY I AM SHARING WITH YOU!! This is your moment, you've got to own it, never ever ever let it go (go go). This is your Chance. TAKE BACK YOUR BACK! Take back your FEET. They deserves the love and support and comfort and cushion of the SKYMAT!!! You can do it! Put your back into it! And to Mike Tecky, co-founder of SkyMat, I know I was your only hope and I have done my best to convey my love and affection for this product. Now for my birthday, I await the world-wide holiday with families gathering to feast and share reviews like this one. To you, Mike with SkyMat. Thank you. Thank you for your most awesome letter that came with my cushy, cozy, comfortable mat, truly inspiring me to spend an hour on this review. You ROCK and now you know that I do too. ;)

First impression is: unimpressed.
Because I've had them less than a week, I only have first impressions. I got the 20/32 and the 20/39. Our previous mats cost about $15 each and didn't fall apart until our dishwasher flooded, causing some water damage. These mats, on sale, were 3 times that. They seem okay, and the matte finish feels good. They have a lot more bounce than our first mats. But durability will be updated in the future. For the cost to be worth it, the issues I'm already seeing will have to be the only issues I see for several years. First issue: the matte finish may be hard to clean. Matte finishes just are. The print also is slightly uneven, which, for something so expensive, is aggravating. Second issue: the colors are slightly off from what the picture implied online. The ombre mats are a more aggressive blue/green and the coloring on the pictures just looked slightly less GREEN. This isn't a huge deal, obviously, but it just feels a lot less like 🌸🌊green🌊🌸 and a lot more like 🏫GREEN🏫. Those who understand will get it. Third issue: is a bigger one. The ends of the mat lift up. That is a minor annoyance now, but if the mat doesn't settle, it will be major. It almost seems as if somehow during manufacturing, the angles on the ends we're not engineered to let the slanted down parts of the mat actually meet my floor. I anticipate finding a lot of crumbs etc under the lips of the mat. Final issue: packaging. The longer mat came in a giant box. Other reviewers, of mats in general, apparently don't like their mats rolled up because it can disfigure the mat - possibly permanently. They also don't want to have to wait for a mat to figure out how to lay flat. Fair. I move often and have had to roll up my cheaper mats before and it has been fine if done gingerly. I expect these mats to survive a little roll. If this had been done, maybe sending me a box that I could have fit into would have been less necessary. Basically, there has to have been a better way.... Couldn't there? Maybe not. So far I'm feeling a little bit of resentment and anxiety. I spent this much for an aesthetic on top of the anticipated quality and don't even feel that was delivered. I do hope these mats hold up.

This Mat is next level comfort and honestly love it in the workplace
This Mat is next level comfort and honestly love it in the workplace. Made my days go from barely bearable and painful, to being able to focus on the great things of my job and actually enjoy it. I feel like a new person leaving work every day. I have soles in my shoes to aid me in my job, which includes standing in the same spot all day, but honestly nothing has helped me more than this. Even my coworker that works at the desk the days that I am not there has said nothing but great words about it. Definitely a top notch product and one of my best buys. Might buy about 10 more to fill my living room up, because I just want to walk on this all day. If you are the maker of this product and you are reading this, I would invest thousands of dollars to make a product like this that covers my whole living room. If you already have one please send me a link or redirect me to it. Also, the email from buying this product about my confirmation was absolutely genius. Funniest confirmation I have ever gotten, "Howdy ;-) Your Sky Mat has just completed the white glove packaging ceremony. Our 12 person inspection team gave their final approval, and our in house Tibetan monk blessed eternal happiness to its owner as we all waved goodbye to the mailman speedily bringing it to your doorstep. Countless people have been involved in the design, sourcing the raw materials, manufacturing, packaging, shipping, marketing, and support of this mat. If it doesn't live up to your highest hopes let us know, and once we stop crying, we will make sure you are 100% satisfied. Assuming you love it, would you like to help someone else be just as happy? All you have to do is leave an honest review on Amazon. You depend on reviews all the time to make wise decisions so be kind and pay it forward and help someone else be as smart as you ;-) When you are ready, please click on this link to leave your review Until then we will just be checking our computers every 30 seconds, like geeky teenagers in love, desperately hoping you like us. As a preemptive thank you, in about 1 week I will send you a promo code for 10% off all of our other awesome products. Again, thank you so much for joining our customer hall of fame. -Michael Tecku " Finally, just to let you this doesn't work, "Until then we will just be checking our computers every 30 seconds, like geeky teenagers in love, desperately hoping you like us." You got to cast a line, reel it in slowly and then release, then reel it in and release until you finally caught her/him. Play hard to get. That's the only way you going to get anything out of the person you like. So sell me the Mat, then right before it arrives, backorder it, send me an email being really sincere, but not promising anything. And then finally when the Mat gets here it's going to feel that much better on my body. It's going to be feel so good that I'm going to write a review like this. Not that this happened to me, but I'm just saying if it did happen to me I would. P.S. SORRY! I have an exam in 8 hours that I have not been to the class in 4 weeks, so I'm learning 4 chapters by staying up all night and taking lots of Adderall... and I have severe ADHD. Thats why I made this review, but this review is as honest and detailed as it gets. Forgot to say that my feet feel like they are on feathers on this. Finally and I mean Finally, why do they call it ADHD when it stands for Attention Deficit Disorder, or Attention Hyperactivity Disorder. It should be ADD or AHD. :) Goodnight! (For people who are sleeping tonight... AKA not me...haha)
