WORTH. EVERY. PENNY.
Okay, this is gross, we went away for 3 days and I forgot to put items for the compost in the compost. Onions and oranges, etc. I even left it by the front door. Walked into a tsunami of fruit flies. We swatted. I came immediately to order fly spray, saw this, it's not expensive. Opened as soon as it came. BOOM!! It works great. When it starts to lose effectiveness, change the batteries. Also, flies can get stuck in it. I have the end of a roll of shop towels and I press the button while running it over that. Crispy critter bugs can interfere with the charge so you have to clean it. I also tap it on the side of the trash can to dislodge larger flies that get stuck. Also, if you have an incidence like us and a swarm, run it slowly through them. Because they are small, they fly right through. I ended up putting fly traps around the house, then on Monday we did one of those bomb things when we left for work ... turns out I discovered I love my husband even more, my knight with plastic bug zapper in hand. Ha. But we live in the south, im ordering more. Working outside is awful, and bug spray wears off quicker than it says. Sorry about the gross story. I had one years ago, but we purchased a battery recharger

You’ll be praying to find flies.
I was tired of swatting flies with a towel and decided to try something new. This bug zapper racket exceeded my expectations! It's incredibly effective and surprisingly fun to use. The first time I zapped a fly, I was amazed by how bright and loud it was—definitely a shocker! Even after two months of frequent use, the AA batteries are still going strong. The zapper is lightweight, which is good for maneuverability, though it could feel sturdier. However, as long as you're careful not to bang it against surfaces, it holds up well. The surface remains clean even after numerous uses; flies don't stick to it, which is a big plus.Safety-wise, it's designed with a button that needs to be held down to activate, ensuring peace of mind. Now, I actually look forward to encountering flies—it's oddly satisfying to zap them away with this device. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with pesky insects!

Fun toy and entertainment
I like the novelty of this swatter. It does a great job with the smaller bugs and kills in one touch the larger bugs often take multiple swats in order to kill them. The quality of the handle is a little bit thinner than I expected and I’m not sure how long it will hold up. There is no smell to the bugs when killed.

Burning mosquitoes smell bad
For those of you that grew up in the 80's with a bug zapper hanging in the yard, this noise will bring you back. Zzzzapp sizzzle. But now you target and hunt down the skeeters. See it, swat it, zap it. If it lands on your arm, hold the swatter behind it, and blow it into the electrifying mesh of oblivion. Battery life has been good so far, no reduced power noticed over an average use of 2 hours per evening for 2 weeks so far. Very lightweight so easy to swing around your person, and look like a dang fool doing it. But it's not stupid if it works. And the rewarding "Zaapp!" sound as you swing it randomly, let's you know you struck home. Very effective against the skeeters and other little gnat-y things inhabiting the yard. And it's fun. For the price, would recommend. Although, on the description it says "Country of origin-USA" or something similar, it is in fact made in China, big surprise there...

Great product, but stopped working after a year
The DEVOGUE® Electric Fly Swatter Bug Zapper was an excellent product when it worked. It was powerful and efficient at getting rid of bugs. Unfortunately, after about a year, it stopped working completely. It’s disappointing since it performed so well at first, but it didn’t last as long as I expected.

DEVOGUE® Electric Fly Swatter Bug Zapper
This was purchased as a replacement for my 10yr old zapper I purchased from TN that finally took it's toll. Albeit this product functions the same way, the size of the racquet head was a bit of a disappointment. My previous zapper racquet head was the about the same size as the old wooden tennis racquet. This bug zapper has a smaller racquet head: it's about the size of my hand spread out (5"x6"). The 2nd photo on the product info looks like a small child's hand holding it, so the racquet head appears to be big, but it's not. Pay attention to the sizing description. That was the only downside to this product. Overall, it worked as it was intended to: zapped gnats with it. Now, as for flies, I have yet to use it on them. My old zapper's racquet head was about dbl and a half the size of this one, so it was easy to zap the fast flies. I have yet to test this on flies. Hopefully, the small racquet head would not be a problem catching them.
