I purchased Toy Guitar for my nephews birthday. He is into music and anything instrumental. The guitar is small and good for a toddler. Made well to stand a few throws on the floor by such toddler. Colorful and fun. My nephew is happy with it.

This guitar is amazing! The strings stay tight, the sound quality is great, and it's very durable. The baby wont put it down!!! Excellent purchase. I will purchase the same guitar for all toddlers and little children for gifts!!!

It's cheaply put together and just broken. Even as a toy I would expect it to not be broken or falling apart. The seams are separating all over this thing like it was put together with Elmer's glue. My kid who I was trying to surprise with a guitar because he's wanted one since his grandpa passed away, opens up the package and is instantly in tears because it's a broken guitar in the box. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.

This guitar is what you pay for. If you want a good guitar that your child can really use, then obviously you should probably pony up the $100+ for such a guitar. This is exactly what it says, a toy. Our six year old daughter likes to play it, but she knows it doesn't sound like a guitar should sound. I'm not confident she can treat a real guitar properly, or if she really wants, or is able, to learn yet, so this fit the bill. The construction of the toy is about what you would expect, all plastic. Only the strings and hardware are anything but plastic. The fit and finish is decent, though the face part of the guitar with the fake woodgrain does have a couple very small nicks in the finish on the edge. The six strings are actually three strings that are looped at the bottom. The knobs on the side are fake, and there are knobs on the back that actually tighten. They don't all stay tight, but you can tighten the screw that holds the knob to keep it from loosening. My biggest complaint with this thing is the sound. Because there are actually only three strings, and they appear to all be the same size string, the sound isn't much like a real guitar. You don't have the progressing pitch change with each string. Now maybe you can tighten the strings to varying degrees to get them more in line like a real guitar, but I was afraid of tightening the strings too much and breaking them.

Everyone who is considering this item for your child please understand this is a toy and not an instrument. As a toy my opinion is it fits the bill. My 2.5 year old think its the best ever. Hence the 4 stars.Why not 5 stars? Because it required some attention/ maintenance from me to resolve a common problem as reported by many here.The problem: strings loosen frequently and require you adjust the tuning keys often. Very annoying!Fix: there are screws on the end of every tuning keys. In order to keep them from loosening frequently you will need to take a small screwdriver and tighten these screws. After tightening the tuning keys wherr i wanted them i also tightened these screws. Issue seems to be resolved. Time will tell. But so far so good.Hope this us helpful.

I bought this to my 4 year old daughter. She keeps telling me to buy a guitar for her so i chose this. She has been playing with it for almost 3 months and sometimes sleeps with it. Of course it is rather a toy but not a pro instrument but it plays nice. It has 6 strings unlike to models which have 4 strings. Good toy.

i bought two of these and both broke at the saddle as the plastic is too thin to even try to tune the guitar. Great toy guitar if you dont mind having flimsy strings that don't sound good. Great return policy as amazon gave me no problems to return. Purchased Dec 2017.

We’ve had this since Christmas and it has held up INCREDIBLY well. My daughter loves it (she is 3) I just wish it had a strap! It’s kind of hard for her to stand and hold correctly but it’s still really cute.
