Too expensive for what they are. Not as nice as I thought they were.

This was a hit with the grandkids. They tried to see who could come up with the most designs. Great stocking stuffer.

This Shashibo trio was actually a "follow-up" Christmas gift for my granddaughter building on the great reception of the one I bought her just one year ago. She loves puzzles and had blazed through several models of the Rubic Cubes, and this shape-shifting toy seemed like just the thing she might like. It was, and she did, and I got a request prior to Christmas to give her the the set of three--which would allow combinations into larger structures.This toy works great for an 8 or 9-year old, although her older brother enjoys it as well. She is not hard on toys, but in any case the durability of these seem pretty good--the one I got her a year ago received a lot of use but still functions great. I hope the manufacturers keep inventing newer, better, and even more complex toys like this--we'll keep buying them.
