2 bad controllers
I bought one of these controllers, it broke the first use. Got a replacement, also lost forward speed on the first use. Amazon would not replace and requested I contact the seller directly. They have ignored my inquiry. I would suggest a different product.

Very nice build quality
Does what it says it will do. I have only tested it with my kayak mounted minn kota endura 30 motor, and for that it is sized perfectly. Mfg. states max 60A draw and 35A continious so I have plenty of headroom. Since it's a sealed box, heat could be an issue down the road with higher draw motors. I looked at building my own, but I couldn't have sourced all of the components required for what I paid for this. My time is also valuable.. at least that's the story I tell my boss.
