It’s fairly soft, but this faux material mimics a fur type that wouldn’t be super soft anyway. The quality is actually as good as it gets for a $60 fur blanket! My big concern was about how this was hold up in the wash, but I am pleasantly surprised! These pictures were taken before and after washing and there is no change in texture or softness. Just follow the care directions carefully: don’t over-dry it! I pulled mine out of the dryer at the last minute and let it finish air drying. My dog loves curling up on this blanket, and it looks so cute draped over the end of my bed. Pretty warm, but mostly for my dog to sleep on.

I too am a Game of Thrones fan, so Direwolf also got my attention. Based on the reviews I read, I decided to order the Hyde Lane throw. It is as described and I love it! So furry, so soft. So beautiful! The faux fur is not only dire wolf beautiful color but so soft, warm and cozy. The only thing I find a bit annoying is that the smooth back tends to make the throw slide off the bed at night. I wake up most mornings with it on the floor. It is covering a chenille bedspread, so maybe that is why. If you want a long-haired faux dire wolf to cuddle with, this is the one. Exactly as I would imagine they would feel like. Highly, highly recommend this!

This blanket is cute, thick and decent quality. The pattern is nice and it is the larger medium size but is a bit pricey.

When I was looking for a nice soft cozy blanket for my wife during the cold winter days of northern maine I came across this blanket. I was not sure if I made the right decision as here on amazon it says this blanket is frequently returned. I really do not know why anyone would return this gorgeous soft warm blanket. Once I gave it to my wife she curled up in the blanket and no lie in ten minutes she was out this thing is that cozy :) I will be ordering a second one :)

Love this! The side closest to you is softer than the “fur” which surprised me but doesn’t take anything away from the beauty of the blanket. Warm and comfortable. No shedding. The larger size is a great fit for the bottom of my king size bed.

I absolutely love this throw! Based on recommendations from other reviewers, when I want to wash it, I do so in gentle cold water, and then I let it air dry. It looks fine afterwards. My cats have thrown up on it and sometimes all I have to do is run that area under cool water and then let it dry, and it's fine again. It's cozy and warm and it looks fabulous on my couch. Really elevates the room!

Would have liked the throw to look more like real fur.

This is actually for my cat, on my bed. The aim is for him to sleep on it, not on me. He assumes his lion pose then kneads and purrs. Both of us are therefore satisfied customers.

Very soft looks great on my bed cats like to knit on it .don't need I how it will wash but it is very cosy
