89 Remote Throttle for outboard motors

VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I wish the range offered better ratio to fine tune the idle. It's very touchy but works. I felt the directions could have been better and the rod provided needs bent to your motor which is not straightforward. All in all does what it should. We asked the seller for help and they provided another rod. We bent the first one several times, originally following the picture in directions but the bends in the picture caused too much spring in the adjustment and we had issues going back into idle. Think we got it now, taking the boat out this weekend to try it. *WARRANTECH SCAM ALERT* Buyer beware of Warrantech Extended Warranty! * This coverage was offered with purchase and stated warranty starts after mfr warranty expires. Had to follow up to even get the contract then the contract was wrong. Should have been a 4yr end date as the mfr warranty was 1 yr + the 3 years they offered. The agreed to correct the contract. Again no response. Following up again they stated that they do not cover this product.
