The media could not be loaded. So happy with this it’s great. Much safer using this than swinging an axe as I don’t have. A lot of room in my wood pile/ shed. Cuts small and big logs easily with one or two whacks. Don’t know why I didn’t buy one before so much less work as the round bar holds the wood in place so my hands are o-ut of the way of the woods a bit crooked so I don’t need to hold it in place. The blades sharp so on a smaller piece of wood it’s one whack. The bigger log just 2. Very good heavy metal should last a long time. I did swop the two screws for two heavy duty ones as I have a LOt of wood to cut and mine were a bit heavier duty. Delighted.

I purchased 3 of these for my scout group for splitting logs and kindling at camps.They work brilliantly and offer a safe way of splitting timber for young people as they use a rubber mallet.The young people love using them and will spend hours splitting wood at camp.I have used these at 6 different camps and events over the last year and they bhave taken some serious abuse and are still in full workng order.I screwed mine down to some 400mm diameter slices of pine tree for stability

This looked like a sturdy product but wasn't and has broken after 9 months and only being used to chop wood 25/30 times.

Bought this for a Xmas , so not been used yet. Seems a good quality product.

Very easy to use. Comes with screws to fasten it to the floor, I haven't decided where to fix it but it works fine if you put a toe on the base to stabilise it. Made a bucket of kindling very quickly and used it to split a couple of logs that were too big. So easy compared to using an axe.Build quality good

great for splitting large logs to a more manageable size for the fire and perfect for making kindling, I don't have to worry about my husband slipping with an axe!

Easy to use, glad I had a 3lb hammer handy - Doesn’t come with a hammer. Quickly split up both hard and soft wood to make kindling. I would suggest using 2-3 inch pieces to start and break them down. This is going to be a game changer for this winter!

This is NOT a wood splitter, not even a kindling splitter. It is extremely flimsy and light. Didn't even try to split a proper log and the paint was already coming out. Would not recommend it unless you are looking for a decorative item. Is thin, small, and the loop is big enough to fit branches only, not even half a log. Trying to return it to the sender but haven't heard from them in weeks! Save your money and buy something else.
