Sturdy, strong and great value
Arrived quickly as you would expect, well packed and easy to assemble. Very sturdy platform with a rubber base means no slippage at all. I use this to hold my Galaxy tab over a Yamaha keyboard, great flexibility in movement and I had no problem getting it exactly where and how I wanted without compromise. Holds the tablet very well with minimal movement when using, trick is in the arm position to maintain high stability. Really is a useful and good quality item and will probably buy another for other uses. Most of my band have suddenly decided they need one as it is discreet yet sturdy enough to use on stage. Well worth the money

Good quality, functional floor stand
I’ve had this for a few days now and for the price I can’t fault it. Well finished, goes together well and holds my kindle or iPad where I need it. Bought to help with neck pain probably caused by hunching over devices for too long. Remains to be seen if it helps with that but from the viewpoint of build quality and functionality it’s great.

Great for mobile phones not that good for tablets.
First off I would like to say the packaging of this product is A+. Everything was neatly sealed in plastic wrap. Good quality materials. Extremely easy to assemble. It took me less than 2 minutes to construct this stand. Firm and stable stand. Now to the reason for the 4 stars. There were a few issues with the nobs in which to tighten the telescopic pole and the clasp which holds the device in place. When wanting to move stand round. The stand will detach itself from the base which is the heaviest part. Which will base to fall to the floor, leaving the other piece in your hand, which you have to re attach. The next weakest point is on back of the clasps which hold the device in place. This clasp is secure but the nut/ nob does not secure or tighten the clasp in place when manipulating to move up. This only seems to happen when using a tablet as the size of the clasps in my opinion is not big enough to accommodate a tablet due to the size and weight of a tablet. I found the clasp is not able to hold tablet upright in position due to the weakness of the nod / but not able to be tightened throughly. The weight of the tablet causes clasp holding tablet to drop downward instead of holding upright in place. Unless you don not mind having your tablet at a downward angle then this product is for you. This is truly ideal for mobiles phones, these devices are lighter in weight. The nob at the back of the clasp has to constantly tightened when using a tablet, as it comes loose. A little bit pricey for such weaknesses in a good product. But as I stated. Good quality materials, apart from the nods to tightened product in crucial parts. But overall a nice product.

Well made floor stand, very adjustable, and easy to manipulate.
Well made floor stand, very adjustable, and easy to manipulate. The base is thin enough to slide under the sofa. The grip is quite strong and is a little awkward to prise open while holding the tablet you are trying to push into it at the same time.

Quite good but needs ‘managing’ sensibly
Perfect for me. Many poor reviews over all these similar items. Re stability - fibd ut us quite good - trap base plate under chair and its rock solid - ipad pro no issue. Oroblems in itgervrevuew can be faurky essily overcome - with heavy tablet and a lot of use good idea to tighten the wing type nuts from time to time . There are two points which for me is to be abke to get optional shorter stem but it is overckne to extent by mobility. The second is almost petty but would make for better tightening is that the top adjustable arm has like flex lamps have two long springs. The problem isnt the spring but rather size of tightening nut catching on spring . Easy to remedy but would put this product ahead of others I have seen. Having said all that I love this product - it really is adjustable and its an absolute boon saving me struggle with devices. For the money it cost you really couldnt expect anything more yes I am very happy overall!

Great idea, flawed execution
For me, this is a mixed bag. It has some brilliant features, but is let down by an equal amount of disappointing ones. Which is a pity, as most of them feel like oversight at the prototype stage, which could have been easily sorted. On the positive side, it feels very sturdy, and I do think that the lamp-arm style of holder is far more solid than the aluminium gooseneck type, which really can’t hold the weight of an iPad, are notoriously difficult to bend and, being aluminium, eventually snap. The black finish is nice in terms of looks, and the springs on the arm are sufficient to hold the weight. I also haven’t had any problems with the little ball and socket at the back of the tablet holder, which can take all the weight of the tablet without complaining. On the minus side, mine came with a stripped thread to the hole which tightens the lamp arm onto the body, so I’m never able to tighten it and the whole top arm swings freely with no way to anchor it. So every time I touch the screen, I have to use my other hand to stop the top arm and my iPad from swinging loosely away from me. The clamp at the end of the arm which holds the tablet in place is either ridiculously hard to open if you use it top-to-bottom, making me live in fear for my ipad’s screen, or if you use it side-to-side it can’t quite hold the weight of a standard iPad Air, and so you have the comedic sight of your iPad slipping gradually down through it, like watching your drunk workmate at the office party, who’s back is to the wall whilst they slide slowly to the ground. The only way I could stop this was to stick a big hunk of blue-tack on the back of my tablet. Next is that it claims in big letters to 369 degree turn, but in fact the instructions warm you in bold text not to ever position the arm anywhere except over the offset base pad, or the unit will topple over. And it’s true; the base is way too light to counterweight the arm and your tablet. If you extend the arm at all in in almost any direction, you’re going to have the whole tablet holder keel over. The upper arm needs to remain -exactly- over the base at all times, which really isn’t practical—and it’s certainly not 360 degree rotation, as claimed. It’s even less stable on carpets. I’m fortunate in that I’m able to wedge the offset base under my bed’s divan base, so although it tries to fall over constantly, the divan base holds it upright. I’ve also used the base from my previous tablet holder as a kind of ballast a few times, by placing it on top of this holder’s base, increasing the weight enough to make it workable (though the question remains, if the manufacturer of my previous, smaller tablet holder knew they needed a base that is literally four times heavier than this one, why did the manufacturer of this one think this’d be fine?) This was both obvious and easy to fix; the base needed to be heavier - a lot heavier. But that probably would have upped the shipping cost per unit, so they went with this one. Finally the main stalk is way too high at 87cm. Yes, you can bend the arm down, but good grief it’s like a wrestling match if you want to try! It would have been so very easy to sort out by simply dividing the main pole into two pieces which slide one inside the other to control the entire unit height with ease, fastened at the desired height with a key-end nut like the one at the top of the stand (only use one that works, unlike mine) It would have made the whole thing so much more easily alterable. So put a heavier base on it so that it actually can rotate 360 as claimed, make the main pole sectional, and choose a tablet holder that couldn’t double as a chest extender for Arnold Schwarzenegger. None of this is rocket science, nor is it beyond manufacturing capabilities at this price-line. That’s what makes me mad; it could have been great; head and shoulders above the competition. As it is, it’s clonky, very awkward, and gives you a full upper body workout every time you use it. All in all I’d say, probably buy this style of tablet holder instead of a gooseneck, but if you get this one, expect to have some issues. EDIT: The seller reached out to me after I left this review and offered a full refund, which was a very generous gesture, and I must admit does give me faith in the seller, if not this particular product. I can't raise the star rating for this review, but for this seller, I'd say they seem to have good values and I'd feel comfortable ordering other items from them in future.

It’s a good product but balancing a large iPad is a challenge

I originally purchased the Tablet Floor Stand, Adjustable Universal 360-degree Rotatable Metal Tablet Holder with high hopes of using it for hands-free viewing and working with my iPad Pro. The design looked solid, and the adjustability was exactly what I needed. However, my initial experience was a bit disappointing. Initial Product Experience: When I first set it up, I noticed that the stand couldn’t hold the weight of my tablet properly. Despite tightening everything, the arm would slowly droop downward under the weight of the device. It was frustrating, especially since the product description claimed it could support tablets up to 12.9 inches. I ended up returning it, thinking it just wasn’t up to the task. A Surprising and Impressive Follow-Up: To my surprise, shortly after the return, I received an email from the company. They informed me that they had redesigned the base, upgrading it to a 3kg (11 lbs) version to better support heavier devices. I appreciated the follow-up, but what really blew me away was what happened next… They Sent Me the New Version – For Free! Out of nowhere, a new stand showed up at my door. The company had sent me the improved version without me even asking for it. That kind of proactive customer service is incredibly rare these days and speaks volumes about how much this vendor values their customers. The New Version – A Huge Improvement: The upgraded stand is soooooooo much better than the original. The heavier base makes a huge difference — it now holds my iPad Pro securely in place with no sagging or slipping. The 360-degree rotation and adjustable height still work smoothly, and now I can actually use it confidently for video calls, reading, or even drawing. Final Verdict: This experience turned from a minor disappointment into a major win. The product now performs exactly as advertised, and the company’s dedication to improving their product and taking care of their customers is truly commendable. Highly recommended product — and even more so, highly recommended vendor. If you’re on the fence, know that you’re buying from a company that listens, improves, and stands behind what they sell.
