Q: Why are my labels blurry?

I had problems with blurry labels on OSX. The barcodes and text were very fuzzy. Turns out the printer driver defaulted to "Grayscale" setting, which adds a lot of artifacts to the print. To disable this, open the print screen, scroll to Printer Options > Printer Features > Feature Sets: Quality > ColorOption, and set this to "None" (not "Grayscale"). Then save this as a preset for your printer so you don't need to do it every time. Also, a tip for cropping labels. Open the label in preview, use the dotted box tool to select the area you want to crop, and pres CMD + K
