Nasty, Stinky Sneakers

I am a third grade teacher and we were studying Eve Bunting. That is why I bought this book. I read this chapter book to the class over a time span of a month or less. The book was cute for the kids. They could relate to the kids in the story and whether they would do the same thing or not. It also has a lot of spots that are cliff hangers so it was a great place to stop and let the kids predict what may happen.

good reading for 8 and 9 year old boys

My son who is 11 and I read the book. He had to read this book as a summer reading and write a report on it. He did not like it. He states that is boring and I think the same way.
