As a tea drinker, this is great. I own so many different types of tea that it can be hard to find what I'm looking for. I've bought boxes of tea when I already owned an unopened container. The glass makes it easy to peek in the chest and see what you have inside. I am storing herbal teas in this and look forward to offering this to my guests. It will make it easier than dumping a bunch of boxes on the table and saying, "I think this box has peppermint tea in it even though it says ginger-lemon on the outside."I got this in rosewood and the color is great. It goes well with my tan and brown colored kitchen. The wood is smooth and silky. This came very well packed. The glass was protected on both sides. I love the finish on this and how smoothly the lid closes. The hinges prevent enable it to open smoothly. There are small rubber pads on the bottom that protect the wood and other surfaces from getting scratched. Each velvet-covered section holds about 12 tea bags. The velvet is a nice touch and makes the box look more expensive. With 6 sections, you can easily store over 70 bags! And since this is about the size of three or four tea boxes (that would hold 12 to 20 tea bags), that's pretty good. But being able to easily separate the teas and see what's inside makes this much better than storing my tea in the cardboard boxes they came in. Twinings, Bigelow, Yogi, Numi, Choice, and Trader Joe's brand wrapped tea bags all fit perfectly.My photos show the box empty and filled, the hinges, and the bottom of the chest.This was a great price and I am already planning on getting these as gifts for the tea drinkers in my life.

The only minor complaint I have about this box is that it's more red than I expected. I still like it though, it's just quite bright. The sections fit a lot of tea bags, either standing or laying flat. The lid stays open and I like the style of hinges it has. The box was packaged nicely in foam padding and bubble wrap and there were no scuffs or abrasions on the surface. It's exactly what I was looking for and makes it a lot easier to see all of the tea we have in a compact space. No more half empty boxes clogging up our cabinet. Its heavy and durable feeling, and the window doesn't rattle around. The window is plastic but I'm fine with that as I don't want to worry about it breaking.

Great little tea box. Its very pretty and looks good on my coffee bar. Construction is nice, everything is smooth and finished. Nice detail of the felt on the inner bottom.Storage capacity is okay, It doesn't quite hold 20 bags in each compartment. I was able to get about 16 or so in each. Not a big deal for me, but it was an issue.I docked it a star because mine is not flat on the bottom and rocks a little on the counter. Not such a big deal for me to send it back.

It’s pretty

I am a wood finisher and can see Apace really does care about the finish and functionality of their tea boxes. This 6 section rosewood finished wood box with removable wood partitions is a definite asset on my kitchen counter. Just received and filled and displayed! I will be proud to offer tea to my guests with this lovely case.

Extremely well made, beautiful hinges and perfect size unlike so many of the cheaper boxes which are just too small. Tea bags in individual paper bags can all stand upright displaying their colours so clearly through the clear plastic window, have many brands of tea and tried most and all fit. The clear window is screwed to the lid from underneath followed by small wooden beading which is stuck with double sided sticky tape on the inside of the box, ours was loose on delivery, probably more to do with transit bumps than build quality, however this was remedied very quickly with a little fresh sticky tape.
