Good so far
It works great so far! I haven’t used it much, however, I plugged in a usb port to it and connected it to my iPhone and was able to transfer files to the drive from my phone.

Use this to connect an SD card reader to my iPhone/iPad lightning port. Plug and play simple.

Since the Update
Now that Apple did an update for the adapter to improve charging with this adapter. I just checked out how the update worked. And it has improved charging.

Easy way to use a keyboard while still charging your iPad
I loathe the onscreen keyboard for the iPad. This handy little gadget lets me keep the iPad charged while enjoying the faster (for numb-fingered me anyway) and more accurate (ditto) input of an external keyboard. (Of course, so does using a wireless keyboard, but a connected keyboard seems to have less latency and fewer electronic gremlins.) A nicely made and readily totable bit of gear.

Second Time IS Not A Charm!
This is the second one I've purchased and has gone bad. The charge port stops working and the USB won't work either. Going to Apple.
