2010 Chevy Express known to shed metal
I have the Express 2500 with the 6.0L engine. I hear it's supposed to have the better torque converter in it than the smaller Express vans. Based on YouTube videos the torque converter is horribly made causing it to produce more metal in pan than normal. So, I bought this van knowing the Trans was having issues going from 1st to 2nd. I rebuilt the valve body and the TEHCM with a TransGo kit. I added another Trans cooler and I put a few of these magnets in the pan. My van drives extremely well now.

Added protection for old engine
I got these to add another layer of protection to my old 496 and my Allison transmission which I recently did some 99 k miles , fluid and filter changes. Put them in the pan of the transmission snd in each oil and trans filters.

Thanks for having the part I needed.
Thanks for the part

It’s a magnet.
The magnets are very strong and fit inside my Allison spin on transmission filter. Unfortunately one of the magnets were broken upon arrival.

Love these magnets, anything you can do to keep the metal fragments from circulation is a great thing.I use 2 on each transmission.
