This book is beautiful to look at and interesting to read. It holds the interest of everyone in the family, from the 2 yr old who will sit and look at pictures to the 36 yr old former bio chem major. The pictures are eye catching. The information is accurate, thorough, and relatable. Definitely a favorite in our house!

Best intro to chemistry for kids

These are most excellent well illustrated and interesting books. Everything well explained and our grandson just loves them. I enjoy reading them as well Chemistry made relevant and interesting. I include the books Elements and Molecules in this review.

I got this for my 9 year old son and he is ecstatic! There are bright pictures, interesting facts and it's really informative. I wish there was something like this when I was learning about the periodic table in school. It would have made memorizing the symbols so much easier because of the colorful pictures. Back in my day all we had was a boring poster we had to memorize and a textbook that was no where's near as fun as this book.

What a fascinating book! Lots of pictures and information. Great for any child interested in science!

Product was in good condition BUT I purchased a “new” one and the one sent was NOT new :(. How I know is that there was Scholastic books school bookfair sticker inside the front page with a teachers name and who it was from. I’m familiar with this tag because we’ve had these fairs at my son’s school. It’s just disappointing because don’t tell me it’s new when it is not…this was purchased as a gift for a student.

Love the pictures. Makes learning chemistry fun to read about.
