Tough patterns to follow. The shoulders were complicated and I had to improvise quite a bit.

Good looking coat. Sleeves work out well. Back has pleats with no instructions on how to finish this part properly. I also made # 802 waist coat. This was easy AND had an option to add sleeves that will give you the same look as this outfit without the pleats in the back. This pattern is moderate to advanced skill level.

A nice pattern with clear directions
Not really a good pattern for beginners, but awesome for historical recreations or the stage. Be prepared to spend a lot of money on buttons :D

Awesome pattern company
I bought this pattern a few years ago and used it for a costume. Somewhere along the line, I lost the directions. When I emailed the company, they sent me a pdf of the directions within 2 hours. This is a solid pattern that has turned out well for me in the past, and a company that provides excellent customer service. I will warn that I would not recommend this pattern for a beginner.
