My main concern was how well these would adhere to the steps on my wooden deck. The stairs can be slippery when they're wet and I have slipped on them more than once. I thought about getting the clear treads but then I thought if I had to add extra adhesive it wouldn't be as obvious with the black treads. I first wiped the deck stairs with some mineral spirits to make sure I had a clean surface. The treads were very easy to install and the paper backing peeled off easily. The adhesive on the back of the treads seems very substantial and I think it will be more than adequate. I was happy with the way the black treads look and they definitely have plenty of grip. I was worried that the small particles would flake off and be messy but so far I've not seen any signs of this. They seem to be just what I needed.

We have hardwood stairs indoors and our family kept slipping down them. After several injuries, we decided we had to do something about it. I found these stair treads and they work really well. You can barely see them (depends on the lighting and angle you are looking at them) and they were easy to install. I got the precut ones and I am so glad I did. These are great and made our stairs non-slip. We haven’t tried taking them off so not sure if they will damage the wood, but hopefully we won’t need to take them off.

Product was easy to install and after a few weeks of bad weather they are still sticking well on the wood ramp they were put on.

The media could not be loaded.  Very pleased with this purchase. These are only barely visible on the hardwood and make it feel safe to run up and down even in socks. Post-wax application that was getting pretty dangerous!Instillation was not difficult, but needed 2 people if you are a perfectionist like me: one to line it up nice and straight and the other to start on one end and scoot across it with a credit card (the thick Amazon prime one worked great!) while peeling off the backing. Then we used the roller to really make sure it was really stuck. One piece we needed to trim because of the corner and played around with it... happy to inform you that it pulls up nicely and re-sticks well without any sign of residue or damage to the wood underneath.

Absolutely the best for our indoor stairs. I have tried several other products and this is by far the best solution for our home. The look nice and they make you comfortable that you won't be sliding down the stairs or tripping over carpeted runners or mats. I have not tried these outside but may order a set to try.

We used these on a wooden ramp we built. We placed them between the raised treads. They provide great traction and are very easy to apply! Would highly recommend

I bought these for our slippery wood stairs. I like that these were easy to put on our stairs & they aren't very obvious. I disliked that two of them were bent in the corner and those 2 do not stay fixed to the stairs as the other ones do. If you get a package w bent pieces I'd recommend reaching out to the seller for an exchange instead of hoping they'll stick where they were bent, they won't. If these had been packaged appropriately to prevent bends then I'd absolutely give 5 stars.

Very happy with this product. We had to add these to our wooden steps to our pool area, as our dogs are getting older and their feet were slipping through the steps, so they were not wanting to come down them anymore. Once we got these onto our steps, they are very happy to be joining us again. SO happy we got these.

Been on our hot tub stairs one summer and one winter. Held up great….would buy again…

My package was damaged when it arrived and the roller was missing. I used a paint roller to substitute and it worked fine. I had to cut the strips a bit to fit but overall it was easy and hopefully the safety needed on my ramp.
