Did what it had to do
I know you can use wood like shims and I have but this little step chock worked perfectly, holding the primary chain secure under high torque without deformity.

Made the job super easy!
Honestly didn't expect this to work with it being made out of some type of plastic. The Jim's tool they sell to complete this job is ignorantly priced for a flat piece of metal. This worked great. Saved me a ton of money and headache!

Works great at a fraction the cost of HD tool
Easy to use for removing and replacing stator and rotor. This was a very small fraction of the price Harley Davidson charges for their tool.Each use slightly damages the tool, but it should be good for 5 to 10 uses before needing to be replaced. Great value for the price. It would be a great price even if it only is used once!

Worked on Sportster
Had to replace the stator on my 2007 Harley-Davidson Nightster 1200. The nut holding on the stator is torqued to around 165-180ft lbs. worked great to help me lock the sprockets in place, and use a breaker bar to break the nut free.
