NelaFLEX II 16 Trowel Gold Edition

The finish that this trowel leaves is immaculate, I’m not a professional plasterer by any means but with the finish this trowel can produce makes the end product look like it was done by one. This is just a finishing trowel, it’s not really meant to be used for applying plaster but just smoothing out the applied coat, but it’s light enough and manageable enough to apply the second coat I’d imagine. I only used it for finish work though.

Tool purchase of the year. Was overskimming a nasty artex ceiling (I know I know but wasn’t my job) and thinking I’d have to do a 3rd coat. Released the Nela for the first time and it nailed it. No more ripples, lines, divets or pin holes. Was utterly amazed. A plasterer’s must have

The only thing I would say is to be sure to keep it dry, with my old one it has started to peal from the black tape stuff that's used where the handle attaches to the blade but ive gotten great use of it and when the new one came i remembered how great a finish it left straight out the box

Put on with my marshaltown. Trowel up with my Nela superflex 2. I won’t use anything else. I think this is my 4th or fith!

I do my own plastering as an electrician when I run cables in walls and this is the best trowel I have ever had. it was recommended to me by a plastering colleague and I was not sure I would spend the money but I am so glad I did. the quality of the finish is so much better than my Marshaltown trowel. I would recommend this to anyone.the handle is particularly comfortable too.
